Wow! That took me back! I spent my 19th birthday in Washington to go to this march with a group of friends from Kent State University. What a great day that was. Thanks for posting!! I have tons of pictures from that week but no video so It was nice to see..

Thanks for posting this video. The MOW is where I met the man of my life, who has been my partner in good times and bad since this memorable date. I will cherish the memories, from the cold, dreary morning to the sunblazing afternoon when we peeled off our leathers for relief from the heat. Many people at work the next day had tell-take sunburns, including me!

I was there when I was 20. It was fantastic!!! Being in the gay youth section of the parade was great. All the gay men and womyn surrounded us as the bible beaters threw hate at us. It was so scary at the time but the older gays pulled together and protected us. unity forever!

Thank you for your video about the 1993 March on Washington. I enjoyed the variety of folks that spoke on camera. Very special to me was seeing the short clip of our dear Sister X. It reminded me of how beautiful she was and how much I miss her. I saw myself with my beautiful boyfriend. We were there with ACTUP.
