lool and btw, look at the amount of german troops that were at the eastern front fighting USSR compared to the amount at the western front at the time when USA got involved and attacked Normandy. Germany had much less defences on the western fron compared to the eastern front. Lol history ^^

The USSR might not have withstood our attack, however, its pretty certain it coudnt have pushed Germany back and conquered Berlin. And later on, when you were ready, you send your soldiers to free Europe of Nazi Germany. That is something you can and you should be proud of. I think, because you live in a country where you have as many liberties as you do, you sometimes forget that you are one of the freest countries in the world, where you can say stuff like that.

Well, if you can, take a book about the US involvment in the WWII and there you will see how much material the US send to Great Britain, France and even the USSR (which was the Soviet Union, nowadays sometimes mixed up with todays Russia). But the US helped liberate western europe and very likely stopped the Red Army from taking over western europe. just like they did eastern europe after the war.
