@tatarioyaji3 これは国家の補助金を使わないよ。他のところは利用するかもしれ­ないが、小豆島ではボランティアがやっているものなので税金や国­の資金は関係ないと思う。

ま、本当に補助金を歌舞伎に使わないはずだと賛成するけど。（米­国人なのに。。。）

I think this is the opening (auspicious) ceremony of the theatre day / festival by an actor playing the part of Sambaso - a particular character who embodies the spirit of the performing arts..

The stage and play set said 歌舞伎 in japanese so was just going by that...

This is Kabuki from a small village called Nakayama on the island of Shodoshima it is a production that the farmers of near by towns put on. It is not PROFESSIONAL kabuki like you would see at large theaters in major Japanese cities.

why is this kabuki so ungraceful at the end?

sorry, I'm interested to know more about kabuki, and so far i thought that Kabuki was like the art of being very graceful
