  • just got an xv 250 today ,was wandering where the filter was ,thanks for this, just the job.

  • @zimmy81

Hi Zim - the filter presses in behind the cover shown from 0:48

    cheers

  • @VRD00M thanks for the reply, what I meant was, I was wandering where the filter was UP UNTILL I saw youre vid, its funny really because, between my brother and I,weve had loads of Triumphs,Nortons, Bsa, suzukis and a Fireblade each and up untill seeing your vid were puzzled where they hid the filter on a xv 250 now all is revealed, mines a xv250s(L) and a cracking little runabout, cheers.

  • Thanks for the video, saved so much headache. Had a mechanic who didn't know where the drain plug was.But now we both know. Good stuff.

  • super quick and informative . Thanks

  • Thanks man very helpful!!! All my questions answered in a minute or two !

  • @VRD00M Thanks!!

  • The good news is the principles are the same, draining, press in filter change and refill based on engine label. Bad news, its not the same locations. XV5356 have the filter and filler on the left. I'm not sure where the drain plug is but it will be pretty distinctive.

  • Is it the same with the VX 535cc model?

  • very clear and concise! Thank you.
