Have been trying this method with our Matese/Westie Puppy for 2 months now.(8 months old) He still doesn't get it. He's very smart, as is our 2nd Maltese. (10 yrs old)
He will just keep tugging on leash. I stop. He sits. Then I go, and he starts pulling. He's about 10lbs, and my back really feels the strain.
