Only when the Chinese poured over the mountains, did the communists begin to gain ground again. Even then, it came to them at a high cost in men and equipment. It may have ended in a tie, but it cost them FAR more to make it so. I don't see how that's a loss. It's a tie....against the largest military in the world.

Australia has been an ally with us for a long time, and they've been more than a great friend to us. Most people don't realize that. The United States is a very powerful country miltary wise, but that's only because we have some of the most powerful nations as allies that help us out on very many situations.
