an interesting pianist but there are some problems with rythm stability andd conception in the bumblebee although the arrangement is very interesting. his way of playing is far away from Chopin/liszt/schumann tradition , what I think is missing is the legato play. he uses not much his armweight and bodyweight for this, which does not give the imprssion of profound playing which for example richter showed so much and many other wellknown pianists.
very repetitive.... (my first time hearing the piece) I prefer music that develops and seems to tell a story, the kind that have a beginning middle and end, not just beginning and end. But thats just my opinion. All and All you are an AMAZING pianist. keep up the good work.
is it the original of "the swan" from saint-saens himself? or is it also arranged by someone? like "gudowsky"??? i mean i like this more than other "swans" ^^....if you got some pages for this notes (i mean the one he plays) pls post it here!!!! :D
I believe Camille Saint-Saens was the original composer of "The Swan," but it was made for the cello. Godowsky improvised the piece for piano. I never heard of this version before; maybe it's his own improvisation.
This indeed isn't Saint-Saens' original version, so it would probably be safe to assume that it is Godowsky's own arrangement; and a very ornate one at that. Needless to say, it is a very beautiful arrangement, and one could almost see gentle water droplets simply showering the swan, if you excuse my cornyness :D Very nice indeed...
This is the most beautiful arrangement for the piece i have ever heard. Can you please send me the sheet music for this arrangement? Thanks!

So much emotion...from the piece and from his face. You can tell his whole mind and soul's in this playing. :)

magical!! whose transcription is this???

I personally like this version much better than the Godowsky one which I find very dark and disturbing for such a pure, innocent piece.

Lovely, and well-played. I don't know whose transcription it is, but I still prefer the one by Godowsky.
