@steviegbcool Well, if you noticed the date the video was first posted, you'll realize YouTube didn't even offer HD uploads at the time. Besides the fact, don't you think that you can still a difference in SD just goes to show how much better Blu-ray is?
Am I the only one who doesn't sit 2 inches away from the screen? All DVD/Blu-Ray comparisons seem pretty pointless to me as they only look different if you have a massive TV or your nose is pressed up against the screen
My dear friend... If you want to demonstrate the difference in quality, and especially the advanteges of HD, wouldnt it be wise to upload the video in a bit more than 480p which you have done? Kinda loses its point to try to demonstrate 1080p then.......
I am picking up the new Blu-Ray of Snow White next Tuesday.
I will also be holding onto my older Platinum Edition DVD of Snow White from 2001. Unfortunately Disney did not port over all of the Special Features from that DVD Edition to the new Blu-Ray Disc Edition.
Did you know the 2001 Platinum DVD didn't include all the features of the 1994 laserdisc? I understand the collector's mentality wanting everything but the truth is that it's quite rare when all the features from one release are carried over to the newer one.
I bought an empty 4 disc Blu-ray case and store both editions in it. It saves shelf space and is cool to have them both in one spot.
I was a huge Laserdisc freak, however I owned the CLV Laserdisc of Snow White. The only ones I held onto were The CAV Boxsets of Fantasia and The Lion King. It is too bad my LD player doesn't work 100% anymore.
I saw one at Best Buy, but I wasn't suppose to get the DVD, but I do have the 2001 Platinum Edition which is a lot better, and so does my 1994 VHS of the film.
yeah the hd really looks great on the sd video you made dumb ass.

It is very unfortunate that many special features from Laserdisc sets of movies will never be released on DVD or Blu-Ray.

@Yensid98 Really? What was missing on the DVD that was on the Laserdisc? Are the missing features included on the Blu-Ray?
