you did not fly high in the black hawk. you want to fly low when you are approaching so no one can see you. then you fly slightly higher so it's extremely difficult to attach tracer darts.

using the secondary missile on choppers is best, you can shoot the missile then do your multi missiles and that usually kills them, and you can have your gunner shoot them to do damage too....instant death...

1) There is always an area, you can picture it as an circle where enemys are.

2) Stay outside that area and point your choppers nose towards the center of the circle where enemys can be in.

3) even if you get hit in the nose it wont always drop you.

4) Smokes, they are usefull, also be engineer.

5) Strafe with ur chopper from left to right and right to left to avoid staying totally still.

6) implimenting these things i said will allow ur gunner(s) to get more accurate shots. check-FrankieonthePC

thx for the smoke tip for those pesky target lockers im a great pilot who very, very rarely gets hit by a nonlocked rocket but so far i have never dodged a locked rocket i will be switching to the smoke when flying cuz optics are only usefull in a tank or uav. Thx

@buddjay000 I am a good pilot, and I can dodge a missile about once, rarely twice. They just come around. What I do is bank hard and that abrupt turn causes the heli to loose altitude. If you did it correctly the missile will miss and turn around for another go, You have to make sure there is a building or obstacle in from of that missile. Trust me when you finally dodge a missile you will yelp in joy. Hope that helps :)

Its hard not to dive bomb with choppers, I rarely find a good gunner. The best gunner I had was 1 of my friend, we went on a 23 kill streak too bad he doesn't play BFBC2 that much.

Repairing inside a chopper depends on if the pilot is ascending or descending at the time. When the pilot stops pushing W or S (PC), repairing is possible in flight.

You need to keep the helicopter (mainly blackhawk) level to the ground or even sometimes you need to tell the driver the let go of the gas, so you can engineer the helicopter. Thumbs up so everyone can see.

The chopper can be fixed from the inside only when it is flying level. That is why the repair tool doesn't always "work"

Everyone these days are doing tip videos about classes and stuff, but that what about tips for heavy and light tanks ? Ppl don't know how to keep tanks alive longer.

Like here's a short version of tanks: 1. Use buildings as COVER instead of staying still in the middle of the street. 2. Flank all the time, so u can take ppl off guard. 3. Use different firepositions, u don't want the enemy to know where you are coming from next. I wish i had capcard so i could do the tutorial.

Sorry to say bud, but if you do not keep that Apache moving, and fast, you WILL be darted faster than a Blackhawk, and the best setup for a Apache crew would be the pilot with V-Warhead, and the gunner should have V-Reload, the pilot can dispatch tanks quicker, and if the gunner has no target, he can also lay down heavy, and damaging fire on the tanks, and the V-Reload also helps if he wants to lay down heavy suppressing fire on the position of a possible enemy squad or clear a forest out.

@mayson12451245 ahh I hate circle strafers. I hate when I hop into a chopper as a gunner and my pilot is just circle strafing, it just makes it harder for the gunner to destroy targets on the ground. I hope Battlefield 3 doesn't have that crap. The first Bad Company, choppers weren't able to circle strafe, makes no sense for it to happen in Bad Company 2.

Hey some of those tips really helped out a lot, what is your username in xbox live? I want to practice my flying in a private match but in public ones there always seems to be an anti air gunner around on Atacama desert and Heavy Metal.... or there is another apache and your gunner is afk or isn't a very good shot.

The gunner is NOT the most powerful seat, the missiles are way better. A tip is to not fly back and forth like that, you're an easy target and it's just stupid, try to circle and strafe around your targets, that way you're a difficult target and it's easier to aim.

I can't stand certain pilots, they can usually spawn trap an entire fucking team to the point you just spawn and die instantly while destroying all your vehicles. GREAT VID for new Bad Co 2 players. You are right getting tagged sucks so if its an issue USE SMOKE!  IMO the BEST way to learn how to fly is to learn how to STEAL your opponents chopper. You will have all of the free play you need. Also YOU CAN FLY SOLO in attack choppers. Pilot missiles can do an incredible amount of damage especially with warheads equipped AND ESPECIALLY when you can use both seats like I do in my vid SEARCH "Stun Gunner!"

i always hover the chopper when ever i get a chance it gives the gunner better accuracy then if im about to get hit i take off... up and forward.... works everytime i went an entire round one time without getting shot down
