@swoledaddy3685 You say "bolt action" as if that is a clunky old gun. You do know that all modern day sniper rifles are bolt action just like they have always been. Chambering a round with a bolt leads to an inherently more stable and therefore accurate shot. The rifle Oswalt used was and is capable of 3 to 5 inch groups at 100 yards and I see 12 year olds doing this on a regular basis at our range. The JFK kill shots at less than 100 yards are not difficult, especially for a scoped bolt gun.

@swoledaddy3685 You say "bolt action" as if that is a clunky old gun. You do know that all modern day sniper rifles are bolt action just like they have always been. Chambering a round with a bolt leads to an inherently more stable and therefore accurate shot. The rifle Oswalt used was and is capable of 3 to 5 inch groups at 100 yards and I see 12 year olds doing this on a regular basis at our range. The JFK kill shots at less than 100 yards are not difficult, especially for a scoped bolt gun.

It has been said that LBJ and JEH were as thick as thieves, but who really knows? I have never thought of LBJ as particularly smart...so he would have had to have a lot of help pulling it off. You are correct..Eisenhower did get us in Vietnam but the WAR started under Johnson......Please provide pages and authors please. I am an avid reader on JFK AND LBJ....and it's universal knowledge that LBJ was on his way to prison either for the Billie Sol Estes or Bobby Baker scandals.

Bugliosi, 'Reclaiming History', pp. 1408-1429, with specific emphasis on Johnson's hesistance to get involved in Nam at all at p. 1417, where George McGovern is cited, even before the assassination, that "both Russell and Johnson opposed American involvement in Vietnam when it was proposed to them as senators by the Eisenhower administration. If it had been up to LBJ, we would not have gone into Vietnam in the first place."

The facts are that Kennedy did NOT want agents on his limousine either in Tampa or Dallas, as it would give off the wrong impression. This has all been documented.

LBJ was indicted by a grand jury for murdering 9 people including a Texas agriculture official, his own sister Josepha becasue she was ratting him out, and JFK just to name a few. By the time anything could be done in the courts LBJ was dead.

That is one of the things that people said at the time of the Vietnam War. That is, that people lied to LBJ about the war and so he could not get the truth and all because he could not accept criticism. People learned that survival meant being yes-men. LBJ could not subjugate his pride and ego and it helped bury him in Vietnam.

Wouldn't it be great to just know what was really going on? Wouldn't it feel good just to know the truth as far as how those who have power over us define it?
