If only when the Lumina was in America, it were rwd, v8, and sounded like that. But no, it was fwd, 3.1 v6 (damn awsome motor dem 3.1s) and a competitor to the taurus!
Truth Be Known Big V8's Generally Dont Like Being Revved Hard, (cept If You Have An Audi Rs4 8,500rpm. Still Thats Only 4.2litre) And You Can Do Damage To A Car If You Are Revving It Like That (in Neutral) All The Time. But I Figure Its His Car And His Money, After All Its A Holden So It'll Probabli Survive
Yes it is. Its a left hand drive Holden Commodore SS (VY Series). Of which the original car was built in Australia and Engine Imported from America. The Lumina may be fully built in America... however it is still just a LHD Holden Commodore....
it isnt that new mate and wtf? redlining it isnt going to do any damage lol he was only touchin the redline anyway...nice car tho hes doing the right thing buying a commodore :) im aussie i own one rock on aussie muscle!!!
Holy shit these are fucking nice. They do not have these in america. And i would love to own one.

You can rev the guts out of it... but can you actually drive it? :P and yes, lumina is actually a re-badged Holden Commodore.

this is not the sound of a stock ls1 engine. I'm absolutely sure

I don't think this car had an LS1. I think that generation Lumina has a 6.0L LS2 motor.
fivespeedg 4 years ago
only the Hsv have the Ls2, but the later commodores (06) have L76 gen 4 6.0 v8s which is similar to both the ls1 and ls2
