Mini-Z's are harder to drive as the tracks are smaller and more technical so many of the large scale racers use mini-Z to practice and hone thier driving skills.

i had one of those but it didn't have the red iodized metal but we were jumping it off my roof on to my friends trampoline and it bounced off and smashed against the fence and broke kinda in half lol
