  • A lot of talent here, she plays very well, but I'm not much of a fan of the tempo she chose. Just my personal opinion... I feel that maybe a faster tempo may have added some sparkle that would have been fantastic. Still a really nice interpretation though, and amazing for someone of her age!

  • She is so talented , a pleasure to hear even in this, her earlier version. Yoon a in your talent shines! I am a fan!

  • Good morning.

Thank you for making friends this time. Hereafter, wonderful animation will be expected.

  • absolutely gorgeous, i love this piece and your playing made me smile with your sense of tone and texture. myself, i am playing Une Barque Sur l'ocean from miroirs but i still love this piece. GREAT JOB

  • Hi A In! That was beautifully played - simply marvelous. *****

  • This is an excellent performance! I must say, though, that it is a little slow to my taste (though that's personal preference). This was at a competition, wasn't it? I recognize the walls from another YouTube video =D Do you have the video from the final round? I would be really surprised if A In didn't progress to the finals...

  • I need yoon a to teach me to play the piano...

  • My Dear A In, although a little slow ( I don't mind that ) your performance is very convincing in an unusual repertoire for you. I must tell you, though, that, in the slow part, the ornementations are not written by Ravel the way you play them. The first note must be "kept" ( as if it was stuck ) and NOT repeated.

That's one of the great originalities of that work.

Have a good look at the score, A In.....

But many congratulations just the same.......

  • Amusing! That an advocate of a competing young pianist, decided to nit pick out such minor interpretive details. As if it somehow demeans her performance & that you somehow know better than her own instructors at the Moscow Conservatory! :P

Your arrogance is in far greater error by comparison. It points to how ignorant you are of Yoon A In. Whose own repertoire far surpasses that of your Aimi Kobayashi's at this same age.

So are you saying her teachers are wrong in what they've taught her?8D

  • @kliingsor93

I apologize for my error in judgment on your intent & purpose in giving advice toYoon A In. Also for assuming that because your videos primarily revolve around Kobayshi, that you are prejudice against Yoon A In in any competitive way.

Many Asians & Westerners are quick to take sides in these "who's better" debates. I now understand you are an advocate of all of these extremely talented young artists! ;)

Thanks for the private message! :S

  • Hi Kron (kroneage)! I'm glad to see you standing up for A In. klingsor93 hates to be questioned. When I recently did that, he wrote "Being a member of the AADGT, I could have harmed you" to my son. More people should start challenging this guy like you did. If he is such a famous music critic, where are those 4,000 articles that he clams to have written? And why does he want to find "a few ' niece' or 'grandsons or daughters' " among the kids on YouTube? I'm still waiting for answers.

  • Hi lilly763, kroneage actually had it right the first time. klingsor93 pretends to be the famous music critic from Le Figaro who wrote under the pen name Clarendon, but he's not. Some parents, like George Li's, have discovered his real agenda. He'll flatter your children until they start to eclipse Aimi Kobayashi. Then out come the fangs and claws that you start to see here. That's why a number of parents, including George Li's, have blocked him. Thus we get defensive for good reasons.

  • Hi again lilly763, since you're one of our friends, you know you're always welcome to write to me and offer your feedback. If you know other parents on YouTube and chat with them, you can learn a lot of things. You might want to see how hurtful klingsor93 was to Chelsea Dock on her recent Ginastera video. There you'll also see that when I strongly defended her, klingsor93 said he could have harmed my son. He also blurted out stuff about Interpol. Warren Dock was grateful for the help.

  • Hmm... you're right. The situation is strange. I think I'd best reserve judgment for now... And I'm really sorry I so brashly accused you of being defensive. I'm still not sure that you are right, but I'm not sure that you're wrong either. I think I'll remove all my other comments regarding this issue.

  • Hi again lilly763, there's definitely no need for an apology or to remove your comments. I think it's great that you don't believe something just because so-and-so says it. It's good to be skeptical and challenge people on YouTube. It would be great if you could see for yourself how klingsor93 went from sweet to hostile on Pianoloverok's videos. Unfortunately, George Li's father removed all of klingsor93's comments from every video when he blocked him. That's how bad it was.

  • What a great pleasure to be invited here to watch her growing (and keep growing!! ... and enjoying so much!!

Thanks a lot again!!! We are so lucky to be touched by her talent much before she get known in any adult competition.

  • WOW congrat. You are very gifted!!!

  • Just a chance visit today as this artist happens to be my first subscription. In retrospect, the reason... is still quite obvious. Yoon A In is preternatural !

  • I thought that I wanted to hear your performance of modern music.

    Splendid.

    Thank you.

  • Of course your Bach is my favorite, too.

  • An amazing performance yoon a in. Congratulations.

    In tune

    Lalita
