this is probably the second scariest transformation i've seen. however, american werewolf in london was more realistic and scared the crap out of me when i was a kid. but, this was a nice indication of the best of cgi and costume. the only flaw was the morphing. other than that, pretty scary stuff here.

@RickRap100 It looks like morphing video. As slow as the transformation was in The Howling 1, the Howling still looked a lot creepier and eary. Because they took the time for real special effects instead of lazing off to morphing video and computer graphics that take away from the realistic look of latest, makeup, real hair, etc. etc. Look up The Howling Transformation.
