@shaazad India has very intense summers and you will get tanned no matter how much you avoid it..thats why.....if you go up north like Punjab, Kashmir you will find fair skinned people....

@shaazad dark skin is a typical color for a pure Indian, those with fair color like Chakdegirl told you are of mixed blood... i was once in love with India but eventually got turned off... i spent a week long vacation in India before and what i saw there was a complete opposite of what I've seen in those fuckin' bollywood movies. when you actually see them in person am sure another question will pop out off your mind:

why do these Indians have this very weird stinky smell?
