The idea is great, but I see you did this tutorial in 2007, and I am hoping by now you have learned how to do a s l o w e r r r tutorial. You clicked buttons so fast, no one on this side of the screen can even see the small screen you presented.
If you know people cant' see the screen, you need to explain what you are doing so we can get the idea. Also, you may be fast, but newbies here have no clue what you do if you go as fast as you are used to. So, slow down and explain more.
This would work better with more accurate selection methods.
Adheres to what seems the YT standard of real-time tutes with no video editing done for interest or clarity - so one ends up with 2 minutes worth of information in a 5+ min clip.

Selection/Copy based approach.

As with all YT PS tutes, needs editing out of the boring bits: 2 min of info in 5+ min clip

very useful tutorial. for the house u can use the polygonal lasso tool, i think its much easier for straight objects.
