  • @kim8932 wow how rude

  • EVERYDAY I'M SHUFFLIN'!!!! LOL

(Sorry, that was completely inappropriate, wasn't it?) *bangs head against medical textbooks*

  • gracias por el video, interesante

  • @guillo1978q de nada.

  • thenoblequran (Ctrl+Enter)

  • Trendelenberg gait (TG) = gluteus medius gait (GMG) = Uncompensated TG/GMG which is characterised by contralateral pelvic drop. The video shows a COMPENSATED TG/GMG which involves lateral trunk flexion to position the body's centre of mass more optimally under the base of support. A compensated TG/GMG is a progression of the uncompensated, simply owing to weaker hip abductors.

  • It's like you guys are making jokes about this... ¬¬

  • This is an exaggeration of pelvic drop its not really good to watch might as well make something more educational

  • Trunk lean!!

  • Bad acting , even the commentator almost laughed in the beginning of the video .

Guys , maybe you r trying to help ......please find a real a person next time .

  • He's not even a very good actor. Far too exaggerated (like his other videos).

  • there should be no lateral trunk bending, thats not trendelenburg gait. this should be removed. misleading, incorrect.

  • hi beautiful

  • This is just stupid. Why get an actor to imitate the gait? It's almost insulting. I'm sure you could have found someone who actually has the Trendelenburg gait. That would have been much more accurate.

  • Dear sir,

I challenge you to a duel!

    Good day.

  • Poor and incorrect.

This guy is just a bad actor

  • This video is misleading. It must be removed

  • @S9KSY this video is misleading. It must be removed. I am a loser. I have nothing else to think about. It must be removed. This affects me greatly. Remove it at once

  • Comment removed

  • Can be due to damaged superior gluteal nerve ^^

  • are you sure that's trendelenburg gait?

  • Trendelenberg gait does not involve compensated lateral trunk movement. This video is more accurately demonstrating gluteus medius gait. Same weakness of hip abductors but it's compensated with lateral lurch of the trunk to the involved side during mid-stance.

  • wtf

  • 喜憨兒= =

  • ... and thanks for copying and pasting that description of trendelenburg gait from wikipedia, Beastbadd84

  • The Trendelenburg gait is an abnormal gait caused by weakness of the abductor muscles of the lower limb, gluteus medius and gluteus minimus.During the stance phase, the weakened abductor muscles allow the pelvis to tilt down on the opposite side. To compensate, the trunk lurches to the weakened side to attempt to maintain a level pelvis throughout the gait cycle. Good Post, very helpful!!

  • sorry i take that back

  • the commentator has mixed up jimmy's sides. his right side on the video is affected.

  • Weakening of abductor muscle causes trendelenburg gait.

  • if right gluteus medius muscle is affected or weak, upon midstance, the patient drops his pelvis on the left.

  • Rt leg side is no abduction of hip.
