At least drivers in that country respect the stop sign, but here, cars have to move in to the intersection to force every driver to stop, not many accidents because we are used to it.

Well, there's a traffic synchronization project in the works, so hopefully they'll install it then.

I could see even when you were approaching why a light is needed. Even if it was only sensor operated . I can imagine that intersection in the rain.
