sometimes when i look at the game packaging logo, i want Ryu to shove his kunai through my neck, just so i can feel once again what it's like to play this game. true, i downloaded the game from the Wii marketplace and saved it to my console, but it will never be the same as when Ninja Gaiden first came out. i know you all feel the same as i, even if you won't admit it or if you call me crazy.

The game developers back then actually tried to make playing a game a well-rounded, enjoyable experience, and with games like this, did a damn good job given what they had to work with at the time. Today's games are all about special effects, while IMO the gameplay isn't nearly as fun as the old days. NG in particular still has the power to evoke some strong emotions whenever I hear certain tracks like this.

This is Ryu's Father's theme, and he's not the final boss. You still have to fight Jacquio, then that huge shrimp looking monster, but you're almost there.
