Yes it gets old, I was short on time, just got the engine in in time to drive 700 miles for a ride with the group. John Schwab discreetly asked/told me to get a muffler before the next ride! Which I did. It's matter of performance, the stock 1998 y pipe and muffler killed performance.

Not to be ignorant but I saw and heard this machine or one like it on Jonn Shwab's video and at first it sounds awesome but very quickly it gets annoying I don't know how you can stand it for any length of time!

A REAL gearhead can run this thing all day!!! it sounds freaking awesome all day everyday!!! so if the sound of the motor bothers you then you need to get the new Chevy volt or something and leave the big boy toys to the bug boys!!! ever day when i wake up my thoughts are pussy, quad, gokart, street buggy ,motorcycle, and my v8 camaro!! and before the day is out i will have played with all them!
