If anyone has a wii they will be able to play this game. just hack it and you will be able to play all of the Mother titles, and yes you can play Mother. All you u need is Wii,SD card,Super Smash Bros Brawl,Youtube,and a person on youtube that can explain it good so you get what u want.

But if you dont want to do this and want to play it for the SNES just buy it for a $100 on the internet or find it in a pawn shop or gayrage sale for a fare price.

@MrMumble127 giygas is the enemy in the present. they cant defeat him in the present or the future, so they went back in time to kill him while he was in the womb, basically aborting him as a baby, hence why if you look he lookes like a fetus. they pray for help because giygas is weak to human emotions, which is hurting him. but all giygas is trying to do is defend himself, which is why it is saying you cant comprehend his attack. you dont know why he is attacking.

Supposedly he wandered into an R rated movie and mistook a murder scene for a rape scene. The scene traumatized him and created the perfect nightmare fuel for this boss. Look closely in the third stage and you'll see the shape of a fetus. Supposedly, Ness is "aborting" the "fetus" of evil before it is born. Rated E for everyone!

The idea of Giygas's dialogue during the fight being based on a traumatic incident from the creator of the game is true, its based on dialogue from a rape scene in a movie that he walked into by mistake when he was 5, but the fetus thing is a coincidence, or at least its possible that that's what was being shown ARTISTICALLY, but its not LITERALLY what was supposed to be going on. The whole fetus and mother thing is symbolic if its true at all.

Ok, what's all the fuss about? I see this boss show up everywhere, and everyone says it's scary or disturbing. It's not either. The image isn't a fetus, it's a twisted skull. The broken record from minecraft is scarier than this. The worst this boss fight is is incredibly odd, much like the rest of the game. The only disturbing thing about this is the fact that it came from the lead designer's mental scarring from seeing a rape scene when he was very young.

A lot of people played Earthbound when they were really young, so at the time, Giygas is terrifying to them.

Others who played back then didn't really grasp what he was (haha see what I did there? xD) until much later, which ends up creeping them out. Fridge logic if you will.
