The swine flu virus is a potential threat that could kill a lot of people. It is more serious than ordinary flu. The influenza pandemic of 1918-1919 killed between 50 to 100 million people worldwide. People are right to be cautious.
The thing is though, we're smarter than people back then, and we have more advanced technlogy, and just downright brains. I however, respect your opinion on it.

If you look back, in the first month of Influenza it killed 1624 people or somewhere around then. In the first month of swine influenza, 'bout 89 people died. However, everyone's opinion matters.
You're probably right. We probably are over reacting:). The biggest fear with this virus I think is that it seems to have a really good ability to mutate.

Yes, we are and that's why we will probably not have the disaster we had back then. It still pay to be cautious.
