  • I miss Pat's vocals. Taylor is great, but it's hard drumming and singing at the same time. It doesn't come out quite right.

    Pat is perfect.

  • Pat sings like Dave was in NIRVANA

  • I'm pretty sure this video isn't from 2002...

It should be from 1997 or 1998

  • that's one of the most fabulously ridiculous haircuts i've ever seen

  • oh man, pat and taylor look absolutely fabulous

  • Pat Smear is a very femmie man!

  • Pat Smear is pretty good at those harmonies.

  • Taylor is a freaking beast!!!

  • Is pat smear wearing high heels?

  • pat smear so thin here...

  • Geezus Pat smear!

  • I remember this being up a year or two ago and was deleted. This was in May of 1997. I'm pretty sure you know that by now lol

  • It can't be 2002, pat smear quit the band way before that... this should be 1998...

  • @raduking to right sir! Colour and Shape in '97. There is Nothing Left to Lose in '99. Pat quit after Taylor joined just after the Colour and Shape

  • Is there any song they haven't played on Jools Holland? :P

  • I love this performance, foo's at their best!:-)

  • yoo this performance was on 5/31/97? the guitarist there is pat smear he left just over 3 months after this was filmed.

  • yeah, pet smear was replaced by chris chifflet sometime in 97... so i guess this is 97 :)

  • @thehaeg no he was replaced by franz stahl, who then was replaced by chris shifflet

  • OMG I used to get the same hairstyle that Dave has on the video

  • Originally transmitted in May '97. Also in the studio were Radiohead playing from their OK Computer LP. More details are on the Later site on bbc.co.uk/programmes/p005lp2n

  • nice! thanks for this! have to ask: do you know if this is the episode where they play with radiohead or something? I've been trying to find that one. They talk about it in some other jools holland interview.

  • @feedyourheads I don't know about that. I just have this one file. But all the info from the original file is as follows.

    Location Jools Holland

    Date 01/17/2002

    Format PAL

    Audio Satellite

    Video Satellite

  • @THE87GT thanks a ton! That is really helpful :) Cheers!

  • @THE87GT Trust me date is wrong..this song would not be played on jools in 02 as he has em play the most recent/current song...but hey not your fault..great song and fills me full of nostalgia lool..cheers for uploading!

  • @DFK01091914 Then why did Sonic youth get up and play Teenage riot when they were on in '09? Why did the Cure play Boys Don't cry in '04? I'm preety the bands didn't enter a timewarp during their set.

  • @feedyourheads I think that's the one with RHCP, although it may have just been Thom Yorke..

  • @feedyourheads

Radiohead were also on this show the same week the Foos played. Those two bands made it a great show that week.

  • This isn't 2002 this is like 97 or 98

but on the other hand... it kicks ass
