I am in my late 40's so I had the pleasure of seeing Van Halen play in the late 70's.I also saw them on the 2007 tour. David has really lost his voice.He is still the great showman but his voice just isn't there anymore. He reminds me of Robert Plant. I saw Zeppelin and Plant had that great voice which he eventually lost. But Van Halen is still worth every penny you can pay to see them live....

I was at the DCU show two nights ago.. I have no words to tell you about what I saw and heard! Ed was dead ON! And that set the crowd on FIRE! It was simply ROCK at its best! Ed was on fire and Dave was in tune. You can say this and that but this is one of the best Rock bands in history and they are in the in HALL OF FAME for good reason!

I was at this show. =VH= BROUGHT IT. Check out the end of the song; the crowd freaked out. No one sat the entire show, but people went especially nuts for this one. Edward was on fire.

From all the videos I've seen/heard, Eddie and Wolfie's backup vocals are perfect. The only thing missing from this tour is a painful bass solo.
