no, you see hes pretending to be a ventriloquist in that number, and you know that the most obvious and famous ventriloquists trick is to be able to talk whilst drinking, check it out on google if u like, Jeff Dunham did it quite a few times. So since hes pretending to be a ventriloquist, he does that.
