EPA has not baned these engines. If they they had I would not have been able to buy mine (6/1 Metro) last summer (June 2007)

Is it true these things will burn almost any kind of fuel oil? even coconut?

dunno about any.... i think you may be thinking of a semi diesel or a hot bulb they burn most crude oilds
