@gvmedatbobby they do get infected, mine got infected within the first week but what i tend to do is go to my GP and get antibiotics as soon as i feel infection developing, and the medicine helps them heal right up quicker than they would normally. as for pain, yes, they hurt. not the piercing itself, but afterwards for a few days to a week, but it depends on your pain tolerance i suppose. some foods will sting for a week or so, but when they are healed, you barely feel them at all.

Achually. It doesn't really don't hurt. there is a slight pinch, but the piercing scizzors kinda numb your cheek. I did mine by myself and they didn't hurt. Best piercing ever. :P
