Javier Sotomayor was still active while he tested positive on cocaine! He failed drug tests two times under his career! The second time he failed a test for Nandrolone which is an anabolic steroid!
Obviously, considering he has the world record but u forget that holm is 181cm, and has jumped 2.40 metres. He's jumped higher then sotomayor ever did above his own height, so holm is an exceptional high jumper in his own right, despite not reaching the incredible 2.45m mark of javier.
You don't get disqualified for exiting off the mat under the bar..you just stand the chance of bumping it with your head on the way off so it's not exacly a good idea. Same with the myth about getting off the mat before the bar falls if it's wigling. If it falls it's a scratch regardless of if you're on the mat or not.

Actually, that rule is just a rumor. Nowhere does it say in any rulebook in any level of track, High School, College, or Pro, that going under the bar after clearance is grounds for a nullified jump.

No doubt that Holm is an amazing jumper, but how tall you are is really not as important in highjump as many think.
And Soto did not test positive while still active. He tested positive on cocaine after he retired...
