They are allowed to leave whenever they want, it just negates their contract and they won't be able to keep working at the brothel without going through the process again. But you can come work with them for a short period of time, go home for awhile, and then apply to work there again. But it is certainly a very relevant labor rights issue.

There are a lot of people with degrees who can't get jobs in their field, and are unemployed or working entry level jobs they never needed their degrees for. Going to college, even with a "safe" major, does not mean it will pay off financially anymore. In fact, there's a good chance it will cost you in the short term and long term.

It seems to me that you aren't seeing the big picture here. The problem isn't that these women are selling sexual favors. The risks that they take are there own. But the diseases and abuse that are possible are the problem. And, in my OPINION, they are completely unnecessary. The right medical technology, namely nanotech (and/or) stem cells, could eliminate these problems entirely! THINK ABOUT IT! A world in which no one need fear STDs!
