@AugFC Wrong. Open up the MW2 3D model of the UMP in 3DS Max, then the BFBC2 UMP model. Change the viewport to wireframe mode, and compare them. The thing about BF is that they can have higher poly models and still have the game run at a nonlaggy speed. This includes network (Xbox LIVE) speeds, not just the CPU speed. Call of Duty uses weapon texture with unneeded details in them in order to make their weapon look higher quality. (BF3 weapon models are the best so far.)

Bf and mw2 have different textures, and all a texture is is a 2d picture put on the 3d image of the gun. Anyone can slap a texture on a gun and say it looks better. We're talking about detail, and bf's 3d gun images are more detailed, which you stated yourself. So thank you for proving my point, and making an ass out of yourself.

@Tinizzlicous The fact is, when there's far more weapons in a game, you tend to put less effort into texturing each one so you can get them all done in time for the game's release. Therefore BFBC2's textures are generally less detailed. I think, to be perfectly honest, you have to have pretty bad eyesight not to realise this. Just compare the guns side by side. It doesn't matter how many polygons there are in the weapons, if the textures are shit, then the guns tend to also look shit.

@AugFC The developers set the release date for when the game is finished. Dice actually puts time into their games, unlike IW/Treyarch. BF2 was in production longer than MW2. Aside from that, it does not take a lot of effort to make a texture. And you still have not given a fact, saying "you tend to", and "generally" does not make it a fact, and saying that the textures in MW2 look better is still an opinion. The only fact here is that the BF2 3d gun images are much more detailed.
