I am right at that point in the game though i haven't played it in a while which sucks pretty much on my part, to sum this up, i would recommend although i really don't know how to get that armor for the hero truly badass, that you guys start at least lv. 60 or 70 because i am in the 60's and still can't whipe the floor with this guy

king metal slimes give 30k exp each...liquid metal 10k...if yangus executioner's hit its instant ko since its always critical :P

if you go to the dragovian altaar you get into a cave that leads you to the dragovian village. that cave is the place where the sun crown is , so is the metal king spear.

Heh. U need to complete the game once. Afterwards, u have to get to the dragovian ruins by flying (it's a shiny place, easy to find). Now, it's all up to you to get through the maze. I beat the first trial at lv.45 so u won't have much trouble.

It doesn't take too long if you go after metal slimes, and you might grab an orichalcum while you're at it, which is always nice.

yeah but metal slimes are tough to kill in battle i killed about 10 out of the 30 i encounter

Using the Thunder/Lightning Thrust spear technique or the Hatchet Man/Executioner axe ability gives you, I think its a 25% and 50% chance respectively, to do a critical which will kill them instantly.
