  • YAH GO ALI!!!!!!!!

  • hey guys

Im a 17 years old guy from Cyprus and im willing to study in the USA. Im a really goos student and want to exploit my learning skills to a high ranked university like this. I wonder if there are any exams I have to pass in order to be accepted by this university and receive lower annual tuitions plus scholarships,,,

Id appreciate any response to my comment

  • cool. cheers are cool stunts!

  • "So what your saying, is to Drink The Worlds Healthiest 100% natural Energy shot supplement, tell people to do the same, and make over $300,000 a month with or without a college degree?"

    YES

    Click the blue bellow this.

and no your wrong, This is WAY to good and is SOO true.

  • they are awesome

  • AMAZING straight up.

  • Speakless! that was truely amazing!

  • wow

  • I wanted to go to Kentucky for college to be a cheerleader, but you have to be 5 ft tall or shorter and 110 lbs.

I'm 5'7 and weigh 115 and they told me I had to lose alot of weight and get shorter. :/

    Snobs....

  • I've always liked this team bvz I love it how they run and then they stomp and punch their arms by their sides! <3 haaha

  • KENTUCKY IS THE BEST!

  • omg that is beast!!! nice choreography =)

  • the stunting is sickkkk. but the transitions are terribly ugly, ya know, when they runn in plavce.. y,u,c,k.

  • was a girl named becca scott on this squad? and if so, where is she on here?

  • Comment removed

  • WOW!!! Amazing

  • They're amazing. Kentucky is the greatest dynasty in collegiate cheering, hands-down. The cheerleaders there are true athletes and they work extremely hard to make that squad (I should know, my mom used to cheer there).

  • HOLY SHIITTTTTTTT!!!!!!

  • @x3allieexo with others such as all the other companies primarily serving all-stars. Kentucky is quite flawless and dominant in their league but all-star is giving all forms of cheerleading one more step into NCAA recognition as the college comp squads started the move toward a uniform score card coming from USA cheer to encompass all styles of cheer. unless the movement becomes large enough to draw from the NCA/UCA division or gains sponsorship from Jeff Webb cheerleading growth will be slowed

  • @x3allieexo that's the point,thats the evolution of cheerleading as a sport.

Cheerleading as a spirit squad (college spirit teams and high school) doesn't stand much of a chance at becoming an NCAA recognized sport as it doesn't meet Title IX requirements and is too disorganized.. Their are attempts at recognizing competition only teams that have started to develop as NCAA sports but that won't happen till everyone competes under one score sheet...right now the main division is NCA and UCA ....

  • cheergurl1017 you could not be more wrong about Cheerleaders not needing to CHEER anymore, especially at Kentucky. Almost the first thing that the potential cheerleaders are told at tryouts is: "Your first job at UK is to lead cheers at football, basketball and volleyball games. That's your job!"

Every single one of those guys and girls, EVERY ONE OF THEM cheers at games. They learn cheers, they do a dance at tryouts, they learn the fight song and the motions to it.

  • @yuthgi this is not an All Star squad of people they pulled in off the street. These kids tryout, work hard and dedicate themselves to being the best. Everyone of them will be on the sidelines this Saturday when the football team plays Louisville.

And to those of you who don't like the "run," what are they supposed to do, WALK? It looks neat and orderly. It keeps them in rhythm. If it was so bad, they wouldn't be 19-time National champs.

  • i love yall OMG i plan on going to this college, so I'm more then likely gonna try out. Because I love cheerleading && I'm very talented

  • @x3allieexo okay i am all for you that kentucky is the best, because i want to go there badly. but how do you think half of those girls got there, ALL-STAR cheerleading. and all-star cheerleading isn't just about glitter and stuff its still legit. im in all-star cheer and i plan to go to kentucky and try out for cheerleading, but i would never have a chance if i hadn't been in all-stars. regardless, this was a perfect routine.

  • And Cheerleading was voted not a sport?!?!? WTFrog?!?!?

  • I love UK!!! They are amazing! I would so want to cheer for the, but I am not that good, plus I really want to go to Georgia Tech of U of Florida and join the Military adn I know Kentucky goes hard core cheer and idk if I could jugle all that! But I am a forever fan! I do all -star cheer and dance mainly dance and I love it to pieces!

  • @x3allieexo That's not true, bc most cheerleaders on kentucky are from all-star cheerleading. All-star cheerleaders don't need to CHEER anymore, bc cheerleading has changed and It's only about tumbling and stunts now. you don't need to know how to cheer, you just need motions, tumbling, and stunting skills.

  • soooo weird to see such a high level amazing team running with butt kickers.

  • I think anyone can see that these cheerleaders have TALENT!!! I love to watch them. They--the University of Ky cheerleaders-- have won national championships consistently. Go Big Blue!

  • I think colleges should push more. As in make there tumbling a little more advanced like allstar cheerleading.

  • @turnermanxi There is no need to. The emphasis in collegiate cheerleading that distinguishes them from all star cheerleading is to push the level of difficulty in stunting.

  • @turnermanxi If you want an all-star-like team, check out UofL.

  • @turnermanxi yeah i think college cheerleaders just have more advanced stunts.its like

    school- good tumbling blah stunts

allstar- really good tumbling cool/intresting stunts

college- amazing clean tumbling WOW stunts

  • Comment removed

  • @turnermanxi @turnermanxi All Stars tumble on a spring floor, Colleges do not at Nationals. Some of the tumbling done by All Star teams wouldn't hit on a flat floor.

  • PHENOMENAL! I love these cheerleaders!

  • WOW, That was amazing!

  • absolutly amazing:) kentucky pride!!

  • ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.

i watched this video five times in a row. i am a huge fan!

  • loved the routine , but what's up with the transitions ?!

  • @xocheercutie12 They have been doing that transition for a really, really long time. It's their style.

It looks nice; I sometimes find myself doing it at cheer practice, lol.

  • Those girls are tiny they're like children

  • WHY do they run like that?! lol

  • That's amazing!!! my friend Juliets in that :)

  • the stunts are good but I hated the transitions.

  • That basket tosses in the beginning of the cheer were amazing. (:

  • their baskets are SO high! amazing!

  • cool :)

  • woah. ((:

  • cool

  • you know us cheerleaders that go tor tornaments and cheer at games and cheer leading includes dancing.... oh and our cheer team is better than the storm dancing chasers....? or what ever they are called!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • dw im better than all of em put 2getha :)

  • @sukmeoff1 you should prove it and post a video, back up what you say.

  • @sukmeoff1 you should prove it and post a video, back up what you say.

  • either way, take the all star team that won nationals, and take the collegiate team that won nationals, and compare them.....collegiate has always been better.

  • If you have to pay your way to be on a team them it's not true tallent. That's like the arguement of college sports are more respected bc they aren't getting paid to play they play bc they love it. High school athletes play bc they love and work super hard to make the team and you can't even get a scolarship from allstar bc scouts look at u in highschool on ur teams so highschool is better.

  • you have to make the team first and then you have to pay for your share of team expenses. Same with highschool - some of the competitive teams you have to make it and then you have to cover your portion as well. Plus not all collegiate athletes - well speaking of spirit squads are funded by athletics so you have to pay/fundraise everything you do

  • @Kcase16 Well put Kcase16. There are some schools that are well know and big schools that only have so many schloarships so they only give it out to so many people. So you could be on the squad and not even be eligiable for a scholarship meaning that you are playing because you love it not because you are getting paid. Think about this no person in their right mind would want to put in the amount of effort that it takes to be a cheerleader for money. It has to be about love.

  • It all depends on what level of all star cheerleading you're talking about. If you're talking about Top Guns level, it still isn't as hard as collegiate cheerleading, no matter what you say. I have NEVER and I mean EVER seen an all star cheer team do double full basket tosses, any single base partner stunting, no rewinds or ANY of that. All all star cheerleading focuses on is tumbling and throw in a few pyramids..Collegiate cheer is way harder, especially if they're full time students.

  • Dude - Cheer athletics open allstar team in the early 2000's did some crazy baskets, pyramids, stunts and tumbling - what are you talking about......

  • Show me an all star team that does double fulls, pike open double fulls, or anything that requires rotation over the hips.

  • @raclip02 uhm try norcal elite sr. 5?

  • Looked them up. Are you seriously trying to compare them to UK?

Again, where are the one-handed rewinds? The back handspring, full up to toss-to-hand-in-hand to stretch? Where are the backtucks into a 1-1-1 pyramid? Where are the flatbacks? Where are the split-open basket tosses? Where are the 1-1-1 pyramids transitioning into a 2-2-1 pyramid? Where are the pike open double full basket tosses? Where are the GREAT pyramids that UK shows through hard team work and dedication?

  • @raclip02 a lot of what you are saying you have never seen an all star team do is because the rules won't allow them to. unless you are talking about the college age all star teams. and they do that stuff.

  • @raclip02 sorry, don't think that last one made much sense in the beginning. what i meant to say was that you don't see all star teams do the things you listed because there are rules that prohibit them from doing them. what you can and can't do depends on what level you are competing at. either way, i agree with you. collegiate level cheerleading is almost always harder than all star.

  • @raclip02 Usually the college that you're interested in has a website and a section dedicated towards international students....Hope that helped

  • @kcernig im in high school and a varsity cheerleader and i have many expenses that i have to pay.. but obviously we have to try-out and earn our spot on the team.

  • Exactly, Kentucky is the best, and All Stars don't cheer, which is stupid, because it's cheerleading, duh.

  • btb

  • As long as the entire team has the standing tumbling pass down, synchronization comes easy.

And yes that is why Hawaii Pacific has the best tumbling.

  • i wish irish dancers cud do that

  • What is with the transitions?!?!?! xD

  • So clean, so much height in the baskets...but seriously...why do they transition like that? Why? It looks so rediculously immature! Like kids pretending to be cheerleaders. Aside from that though, awesome.

  • It's the tradition of Kentucky Cheerleaders. If you look at videos of the 1995 squad, you'd see the same Kentucky Run.

    It's tradition, that's all.

  • Winston-Salem State..."sideline icons"??...more like Ghetto Icons

  • Whatever. You saw it. Kentucky on their best day could not out cheer WSSU. The have a unique style that no one can match. And Precision, Motions, Shakes, Stomps, and Energy unmatch. Cheerleading is more than how high you can build. And how many stunts you can pack into 2:15sec. These Competitions have turned into more glazed performances than cheerleading. Like i said be for the build great, They cheer nothing special.

  • Actually, if you go to kentuckycheerleading(.)org and click on their CROWD VIDEOS, you will see how much better they are. They literally point to one side of the stadium and they yell, "BLUE!" and then the other side following with the words, "WHITE!". GO BIG BLUE and C-A-T-S CATS, CATS, CATS will be heard throughout the stadium because every single one of those people bleeds blue and sees blue in everything they do.

  • I would pay anything to see Winston-Salem State University and U of Kentucky cheerleaders stand across from each other at a basketball game. Lets see how good your "cheering" matches up.

    The best v/s the best.

  • i think i would much rather see flyers with ok flexibility with such great body control and tumbling skills than those flyers you see everywhere else where they wobble like crazy and their double downs look like they are diving to the mat.

  • Best tumbling does NOT go to Kentucky. It goes to Hawaii Pacific. They're tumbling skills are amazing compared to UK's traditional round off, back handspring, full twist. And UK's Basket Tosses are very controlled, but don't think that other teams aren't sloppy. UWO has pretty controlled basket tosses and they're way more entertaining than UK, but this is why we have different divisions for different styles. If you want pumped up competitions go to NCA, if you want difficulty, go to UCA. There.

  • @raclip02

I'm curious how you came to the conclusion that having 1/2 a team do backhandsprings-to full (most difficult tumbling pass) like HPU did in 09 was better than having the ENTIRE team do them like UK does at :15? LOL. Your statement about roundoff-backhandspring-full would be correct were it not for the fact that UK starts their routine off with a far more difficult sequence and is the only squad that does it as an ENTIRE team.

  • Actually ALL HPU squad members are required to have round off, back handspring, arabian, round off, back handspring, full twist and a lot more variations that will blow Kentucky's tumbling out of the water. Just because all of them don't do it, doesn't mean one or two people lack the skill. And when UK did that tumbling sequence at 15 seconds, not everyone did the full. Some did a tuck.

And Louisville can do most of the stunts Kentucky can do, anyway.

  • for people saying they're boring obviously no nothing about competitive cheering...the difficulty level cannot be matched..they take cheering to a whole other level...other teams follow their lead

  • 1) It's "they're" not "there.

    2) Boring? UK may not smear makeup and sparkles all over their faces and they may not wear uniforms that look like they belong in the strip club, but the stunts/tumbling they do are the best in the country hands down. If UK is boring then exciting squads don't exist.

  • Sorry. I find the whole thing boring. Not debating how good they can stunt and tumble thats clear. But so can Cirque du Soleil. Its was low energy.

They move with this robotic manner that makes it all look sort of fake. Its almost like they have had there souls ripped from them. They are the epitome of a "Cut an Paste" Cookie Cutter Cheerleading squad.

As far as flat out "Cheering" Kentucky is no Winston-Salem State U. Check'em out. The sideline Icons.

  • 17 national championships and they are "low energy" and "cut and paste"? Apparently someone didn't make the UK squad and holds a grudge haha.

Also, it's "their" when you are speaking of people, not "there".

  • I 100% agree with both statements. I hate teams who smear glitter and makeup all over. It looks trashy. And nothings worse when when you're stunting and you get your flyers glitter in your eyes!

  • There good except the old fashion cheerleading look isnt great the flyer need to work more on flexibilty but otherwise great job <3

  • woahhhhhhhh.......

  • who in the world thumbs down me??? thats retarded

  • i was a cheerleader once but i switched to band ..lol so much for being popular..

  • LOL.

  • . :P

  • LOVE THEM!

  • amazing.

  • All I can say is...... AMAZING!!!!

  • flexibility needs work in the heal stretches but otherwise beautiful!

Poison - "Nothing But A Good Time"

    Daughtry - "Over You"

  • I like you great ... but tired your style

  • great unison! clear winners by miles over alabama and ucf! i was wondering were all of them ment to do fulls at the beginning or not as not all of them did!.doesnt matter either way but just wondering?

    love the tick tock!!

  • I love the JOGGING for the transition

  • the pike-twist toss was so great! and i love the tic-toc and the rewinds too! very very clean!! I LOVE THIS PERFORMANCE. btw, i just saw this earlier this morning at ESPN.

    - fan from the Philippines!!

  • AMAZING!

  • me too!

  • what do you call that basket toss on 1:24 and 2:13?

  • pike x full, and pike open doubles

  • does anyone know the name of the song that starts around :26?

  • live your life by Rihannah.

  • Umm I definitely don't think that's it.

I mean the song during the handstand stunts.

  • do all the cheerleaders still hook up with each other and go out drinking with their coaches...

  • that was seriously amazinggg !

  • i like 1:23 to 1:26!

  • Kentucky ROCKS! Love their stunts and transitions :D

  • 1st place i bet!!!! they wer awesome, amazing!!! whooohooo!

  • andbody ever hear of father judge cheerleading? they are second in the nation (: my friends are on that teaamm<3

  • oh how i wish i was apart of this<3

  • they won first place no dought

  • dont they ALWAYS win?

  • yup... they ALWAYS win... but i mean, i guess they desserve it...

  • they lost a few years ago. All because one of the final stunts didn't hit. They were ending with the stunts at 0:53 but one of the girls fell over the other and that's why they lost. But they are still amazing!!

  • Don't need to kill to be on the squad, just work your butt off and stay small...:)

  • nice tick tock

  • UFC is more beuatiful than this... but UK deserves to be the champion...

  • UCF is usually a little more creative, but not as difficult. When UCF can do the difficulty that UK does, they might win!

  • Because they are beatable. That's why.

  • LOL ....... Hahahaha ....... nice one!!!

  • You don't think UK can be beat? Trust me, they can. They have. They will again. I still believe they are absolutely perrrenially the best college team in the country. But lets not be silly...
