You should try start as Denmark, I've tried a few times, did okay once, then both Sweden and Norway decided to elect their own kings, and at the same time, Hansa kicked me out of the trade league, and owned my ass, lol. DK is definitely one of the harder ones to play.

This is one the most intresting episodes so far of this let's play....I'm from Sweden so fun that you started with a country close to them and allied with them so I get to see some swedish action =)

The war ending shortly after the battle, the Order didn't gain much, something that angered Victor to no end, after seeing many of his friends die during the battle, but there was no aguring, his army were to return home through Sweden and be given a hero's welcome. Victor would be given the title of Company Commander, a demotion of sorts, the Order still felt that Victor was still too young to properly command a full army yet.

The war between Norway and Sweden was Victor's first deployment. At first the attempt to aid the Order's allies was via ship, however, the ship and the commander of the expeditionary force died while onboard, the late leader's XO continued via the long way, but when finally arriving at Norway, was shortly killed during the first battle, Victor, one of the few surviving officers, took command, dispite being only 19 years old, defeated the norwegian armies, saving the Sweden Army under attack.

You really do need to bulk out your country. It's quite thin.

If you want my opinion, Spain's a great little fortress of a peninsula, given its spherical shape. Get some troops in a boat and sail over there, and take Portugese land. Build up over there, then team up with Castille and push Aragon out of Iberia. If you successfully take the land on both sides of Castille, vassalation followed by annexation shouldn't be a difficult task.

@SuperWhiteCookie Man I know what you mean, I was playing as britain and france got semi-wiped out by burgundy so i thought id try invading them. They defeated all 4 of my 20k armies :(. I ended up loading the game up as burgundy, disbanding most of their troops then returning back to britain :P

@NapoleonofCanada Well, EUIII is a much grander strategy game than HoI III. In EU3, you plot the course of your nation over almost half a millenia, whereas in HoI III it's just a few years. In HoI III it's more precise, but Europa Univeralis is more satisfying IMO. When you really win a war against a major power, and you see some of their previous provinces turn your color... man, there's nothing like that.
