i love this song.

i had a professor who said he knew the band back in the early days. he said walter becker was a great guy who was friendly and laid back but that donald fagen was a real jerk who was a real demanding know it all.

I'm a long-time fan of SD and I've seen them several times. At one concert, they opened with this song. It was a great choice. It got the crowd right into it.

@SgtPareen413 I don't know if that's true...didn't Becker and Fagan start off as songwriters and eventually put a band together to do their own songs because nobody else wanted them? That's what I always thought...I have a book about them, maybe I should read the fucking thing...by the way the quality of this smell phone video blows, as usual.

God I just saw Steely Dan for the third time tonight. Donald Fagen is truly amazing, even at age 60. Thank you for the video! It's my favorite song.
