Even with a turbo and even with all those high revs, this car seems to be a bit underpowered. My 2002 SAAB Viggen 5-door with a Nordic Stage-3 setup is quite a bit faster than this RSX and I still get 30+ mpg on the combined cycle.

@valereydyachuk how much power does your car make and what does it weigh? from quick research only looks about to be around 300whp/300wtq with that setup, maybe a little more. And edmunds shows your car to weight just shy of 3200lbs.

your car is slower by a lot. sorry, simple power to weight ratio, gearing aside, your car is not as fast. For the record my car returned 34mpg last time I drove a 10 hour trip to tail of the dragon with this particular setup making 417whp/290wtq @ 13.5psi.

@robry84 I may have not spotted it yet but I don't see any wheel spin in any gear. In my Viggen, I run very sticky tires and get wheel spin in 1st, 2nd and sometimes in 3rd gear in the dry. Have you run on a Dyno yet to see how much power you're putting down for sure?

@valereydyachuk just because you don't see it in this video doesn't mean it doesn't happen, it was 80F+ out and I have a sticky 245/40/17 on this car. Only get wheel spin in 1st and 2nd from a stop. Check my other videos, car made 417whp @ 13.5psi with this setup.

@PeakBoostDC5 Precision SC6162 with S compressor (.70a/r) and .63 a/r T31 vband back housing. The replacement for this turbo, which is the 6262 is bad ass. If I was keeping the car I would probably upgrade to it, since its got the billet compressor.

cam's are a complete waste of time on a K series.

you need a clutch, injectors, motor mounts, gauges, turbo kit, k-pro, map sensor, boost solenoid, etc.

just take whatever you think you could spend on it, and double it, and then expect to spend a little more money lol.

my only real problem with the car and the driver is that he shifts to slow. If your running boost, and pulling what sounded like close to probably 8000rpm, dont be afraid to dump the clutch for the sake of grabbin gears. who wants to pull R's like that but not really drive it like you should drive it. Thats my only complaint. I would like to see that thing jump when you are grabbin gears

yes kpro, it's a revhard log manifold with their intercooler and piping kit, otherwise everything else was pieced together. the engine is stock internally. have a CC stage 4 clutch, otherwise the transmission is stock too.

well without trying to figure out how to speak retard, I have a launch limiter set in kpro, it is a rev limiter, which is what you're hearing. since they I've setup anti-lag which retards timing and adds fuel and causes the explosion to happen in the exhaust manifold, which spools the turbo, giving you 10psi+ at a standstill, so you can launch the car harder'

the video doesn't give a great idea of how fast you're really going. Car made 350whp but there were some issues at the dyno. I'm going to redo the fuel system and a few other things for next spring. It will make 400whp I'm pretty positive. Turbo turns out to actually be a PT62/62 w/ their new billet wheel.
