  • Where's the turkeys?

  • Great movie! =) Check out this tune I made, inspired by it: /watch?v=1-T7ecEVS2I

    Cheers

  • So accurate about 1995, it could have been a documentary

  • I was born in 1995. :)

  • im da 30,000th veiwer..... I bet around a hundred others are too

  • Steve Railsback also plyed Charles Manson.

  • 'Turkey Shoot' was very well done - interesting storyline, great acting and directing. That violence made by people was unbelievably cruel. Anyway it was great for Crime/Thriller movie. Our modern so-called "thrillers" and "horrors" suck. The 80's were the greatest!

  • i dont remember this oh wait i was born 1995

  • BEST MOVIE EVARS

  • Always amusing to see the Aussie actors in these cheesy old movies, especially Michael Craig (as the dictator/evil genius) who i recognize because in the 90's he played a genial doctor in the medical drama 'GP' and then theres the lovely Lynda Stoner, always lovely to look at ;p

  • Aside from not having Bone Thugs n Harmony's "Crossroads" in the soundtrack, this is an accurate portrayal of 1995.

  • @redmunkee I can see them standing off in the distance of the field: And I'm gonna miss errbody, I'm gonna miss errbody, I'm gonna miss *BANG*

  • @redmunkee Funny thing is I live in Australia & in 1995 I must have slept right through this strict oppressive regime!

  • @ufuckfacesonofabitch So you missed out on Olivia Hussey's luscious titaaaayyyysss, lame.

  • I remember the days going to see the latest release at the video store in the '80s.

This was a highlight for the effects at the time.

In particular, I remember the seen of the guy's head getting hit by the machine gun, I watched it in slow motion and at the time I thought for sure they had to kill someone to make the scene. You could see chunks of meat coming off the head with every bullet. Must have been a meat and brain packed dummy head.

  • OPEN SEASON

  • "Freedom is Obedience, Obedience is Work, Work is Life"

  • lol it said john daly was an executive producer, wonder if its the pro golfer?

  • god damn this is a great movie. the most fun and enjoyabel exploitation flick out there.

  • God, to think that they said that the world would be ruled by a strict regime in this day and age! And that there would be concentration camps like that! Hilarious.

  • how is it living in that bubble?

  • Get back to me in three years, then try laughing. Namaste.

  • fantastic acting haha, god i laughed so much at this movie

  • their sound effects are nice LOL

  • Yeah thats pretty much the way i remember 1995

  • me too, except all movies were not as awesomely-cheesy but pathetically trying to be darker and moodier

  • 2:22 HAHAHA brilliant!!!!

  • This is definitely one of those "so bad it's good" kind of films. I'm not a big Tarantino fan, but I think I read somewhere that this is one of Quentin Tarantino's favorite films.

  • Duane Barry!

  • Big Roger Ward's career-best performance to date second only to his turn on Mad Max!!!

  • I get endless amusement from seeing the ridiculous versions of the relatively near future in 70's and 80's sci-fi films. Like the entire world system could change in a mere decade or so.

  • I thought I remembered this one, but it was called "Escape 2000"

  • It is called "Escape 2000" in America!

  • Steve for "Lifeforce"

  • o boy! the funny farm

  • Wasn't Rutger Hauer in this?

  • You're thinking of 'Cut and Run'.

  • No! no he wasn't

  • true action movie

  • I have this film but it is entitled "Escape 2000".

  • AWESOME

  • looks like the runing man with arnie

  • Directed by Brian Tranchard-Smith...The Australian Roger Corman!

  • @burbledad Antony I. Ginnane is the self professed "Australian Roger Corman"

  • 'The world is ruled by a strict regime - step out of line and they take you to the funny farm'... I thought this was supposed to be fiction? FEMA camps here we come...

  • Steve Railsback played Ed Gein

  • He also played Paul Anders

  • haha 1995...

  • Awsome exploding head in this.

  • omg this looks great lol

  • wooooow! talk about showing the entire movie LOL

  • That's what's great about the trailers, you don't have to see the movie...

  • A Hemdale production before they were actually Hemdale? Judging from some of the language, I doubt this was a U.S. trailer.

  • I like the fact that the 'future' in this movie is 1995!!! HAHA.

  • Ah, I knew it! Steve Railsback and Olivia Hussey!

Is this Aussie "gindhouse"? The seen with the General Dynamics F-111 on the low pass must have the most expensive scene in the whole flick!

  • Hahaha!

  • my thoughts EXACTLY!!! i'm like " holy shit- how did they manage to get a fly-by from an "Ardvark", that sure is some cutting-edge military hardware. roflmao

  • @ZombiedustXXX I think the term is Ozploitation.

  • @StayUgly You should watch a film called "not quite hollywood" i would highly reccomend it its all about these kind of australian exploitation films.

  • @ZombiedustXXX Australian production with American and English actors.

  • I saw this movie on late night TBS when I was a kid. It was fuckin disturbing. Ever since I saw it I wondered what the hell it was called. I'll probably think the were-monster in it is stupid now, but when I was little it was terrifying. Thanx for postin this. made my day.
