Nilan picked his spots? WTF are you talking about he fought all the tough guys and won- he never got knocked out- EVER. I never even seen Nilan with a bloody face or black eye and he fought Probert, Semenko, that pussy Dave Brown got pummeled by Nilan.

For you morons who call Nilan a punching bag, I saw most of Nilans fights and he was one of the toughest. Dave Brown, even without a jersey had a hard time. Semenko couldn't get a hold of Nilan. Every fighter has losses. Nilan lost a couple to Playfair, Behn Wilson, Al Secord. In his prime it took a steroid pumped Gord Donnelly to beat him. Jay Miller was the only fighter who had an edge over Nilan in his prime. But look at what Miller did to Brown. Destroyed him.

@teapartycanada1 Nilan wanted no part of Brown because of the latter's lack of jersey (smart). Brown did fight him a year later (its on here) and pounded his ass. Nilan picked his spots (like Chris Neil of the present day Senators) and succeeded for the most part because of this. Miller always pounded him which is why the Habs brought Kordic up and he succeeded where Nilan failed.
