This song is the bomb and I have always loved it. Used to have it on a 78 and played until the needle was going through the record. lol They are really meant for each other and always will be together. Think what heaven will be like with them in the great big choir. Praise God.

Tammi Terrell was too ill to record by the end of her life and of the 12 songs on the 1969 album `Easy` credited to Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell only 2 feature Tammi. These were 2 solo Tammi songs that Marvin recorded over. The other 10 songs on the album including The Onion Song featured female lead vocals by Valerie Simpson trying to sound like Tammi.
