  • Instead of "Hop up on my dick and do a full split" I'd prefer "Hop Up On My Dick And Do A BIG Oversplit"

  • Good sex position

  • holllllly craaaaap

  • does this help with flexiblitiy ? :)

  • @xxJustinBieberxx101 yes, a lot... but you dont need partners....just do it yourself and let gravity do the work for you ;D

  • havin fun with the wall????

  • you do need partners becuase walls are rarely flat the whole way down there is usually a base board.

  • we hold these for 5 minutes each!

  • @thedazzlers101 in my dance class we hold them for 25 mins before class!! afterwards...well...its death :)

  • No No No....i Am Not Tryinq 2 Let Ppl Break Myy Legs....GMO

  • I prefer wall splits. lol These hurt like hell.

  • i dont use partners when i do this .. i use gravity .. it does the work . thats the whole point of it . to let it happen slowly without too much pressure .

  • i just did this and im freaking sore!!!!!!! X(

  • I dont use partners. I use gravity

  • this is helpful:).

  • this is supe helpful:)!

  • Holy shizz you're flexible !

  • this stretch always helps me a lot!!! except at my studio we call this a V-Stretch...oh well lol

  • overly flexible people are kinda painful to watch...they're amazing. just a tad scary ;)

  • i will be paralyzed if i do this...

  • haha my studio calls this murder

  • i can't believe how ridiculously easy her legs go down.

  • why partners? it's better to do it by yourself:)))

  • im a 12 year dancer and i honestly can say that this is one of the greatest stretches ever invented. my fouette' is much better thanks to this. and so are my splits.

  • @brandiibaby2013

so will that hurt so much?

  • r there streches to help get the left or right split?

  • Holy shit Ive been doing dance and cheer for 5 years and still don't have that right!

  • i tore the muscle in my left thigh three years ago and since then it hasn't healed right. i can split with my right leg in front but not my left leg in front or to the middle. if i do this stretch, just not as extreme, will it help stretch my muscle so that i can split properly again?

  • oh my gosh i love these!!!!! my friends think i'm a freak but....i love them. and we have to do these by ourselves and our teachers walk around and push our legs down BUT THESE ARE SO FUN!!

  • @iLoveNickJonas2121

do you feel much pain during this stretch?

  • @zhangyi8842 a little. once im in the position all the way it doesnt hurt that bad but it kinda does

  • I'm a dancer, and I love dance--if you love it enough, you'll work through the pain and everything and in the end it'll be worth it.

Yeah, it's painful the first few times you do it... but believe it or not, after the first few times as you start getting more flexible, it actually is quite relaxing. x'D

I used to do this, but I didn't do it with partners... maybe I'll have my dance teacher start having people help other people with it like this.

  • We do this in my dance class, it works greaaaaattt for middle splits, just make sure you keep both legs the same height. ^_^

  • splits. i'm working on them. i've been dancing a bit for the past few years, and never really got into steching much until i made it on my schools dace team. and now i've been streaching alot more. i'm very close with my right:)

  • This does work because whenever I went to ballet class my ballet teacher would make us do this.

  • You should not use partners to push on the ankle, This puts too much strain on the knees. Instead give a little pressure to the inner thigh just above the knee. It provides more of a stretch and it is much better for your knees.

  • yes! pay attention in physics class, dancers!

  • we call it the wall and you dont need partners

  • i LOVEEEE DANCE to but i thought i was to old to start it and to unflexible but i streches everyday all summer and now i can do the splits wich proves that if u truly have a passion for something do it!

  • I agree. I just started dancing last year my freshman year in high school with no experience of any sort. I'm now one of the best dancers on the team, and I made state team. I have all three splits. People should really pay attention to what they really want to do, because if I can do it, anyone else could.

  • i agree! i worked all summer and i got my splits down too :)

  • hehe, we call this the gravity stretch. "]

  • it's not ur fault if you LOVE something you will do anything for it!!!!!!!! when you love dance like i do you will pull muscles just to increase bodily strength and flexibility!

  • LORD GOD, THAT LOOKS PAINFUL.

well i now know that dancing is NOT for me. :(

  • Oh my god! Ow.... I can't do center splits and that looks just about impossible for someone like me.

  • oh that looks painful, im so terrible at the middle splits :P

wish i as like her haha

  • haha we call that gravity but we dont come back up til a long time

  • yes , let gravity do it slowly so u dnt overact ur leg muscles. if u move it to fast it could tear and pull..

  • u dont need partners, u need 2 relax and let gravity do it slowly.

  • @KcAriaGirl

    for how long ?

  • @system0Fhonor

I'm not sure about anyone else but I stay there for a few minutes.

  • where i dance, we do these, but we do them against a wall where the bar is, and after a while we sometimes lift our legs a little bit and pull our upper bodies up by grabbing onto the bars (without the partners pushing on your legs), and that helps with getting your legs higher in toe touches and center leaps.

  • i hope that makes at least some sense...

  • that's what we do at sas too

  • oMg i do this but instead of laying on the floor we do it by doing a split against the mirror and pushing ourselves in our lyrical class . its fun . but i like this stretch better (:

  • We do this by ourselves in my lyrical class, and sometimes not even against the wall, just in the middle of the floor.

    It really does work!

  • ok yeah sure well you can sit up and push ur self into the wall and then put something like a heavy box to push you in i will post a couple videos of it if you want just write back cause idk how to explain the other one

  • this is a good one but there is also a couple more you can lay on ur stomach and scoot into the wall and that one is my favorite it helps alot!! ask me if u need anymore i have alot

  • Could u tell me all the ones you know becasue I really want to be able to a full straddle.

  • i love doing thisss(:

  • that is insane!

  • Wooooo this helps A LOT!!! Thanks!!!

  • i am a figure skater. and in order to get my split jump i am going to try this

  • When I do this stretch it doesn't hurt until I take my legs away from the wall, then I get a stabbing pain in the back of my knee. Anyone know why?

  • you are probably pulling some tendons along the side of your knee. Try doing it with the other two people pushing down on the sides of your knees or putting one hand on your inner thigh and one hand on your inner calf. this prevents your knee from twisting to accomodate to the pressure on your ankles.

  • Thanks for the help.

  • yeah but what do you think your doinq in the air whe you leap? a split so the better your split the better your leap is but of course you also need strenqth in your leqs for elavation

  • Our acro teacher tortures us with this one! If you don't have people pressing on your legs however, it is EXTREMELY relaxing and wonderful.

  • Ya this really hurts but I have to do this a lot for my second leaps to improve.

  • this took me 4ever to get when i took dance lessons in 4th grade it was so painful..

  • omggg omggg omggg omggg omggg wtf!?!?!

  • people that are saying this hurts..you shouldnt stretch so far it is actually painful! just stretch far enough to feel it...you need to give your flexibility time. If you arent normally flexible dont jump right into these types of stretches..try easier ones first.

  • you shouldnt push from below your knee its bad for your joints

  • i have to do this for 30 minutes everyday and i have mine all the way down it used to hurt but now i cant even fell the pain.

  • why for 30 minutes

  • beacuse the lonqer you stay it in that position the less it hurts and the more you can do it. My dance teachr makes us do it for 30 minutes and she also makes us do that but facing the floor for 30 minutes... the one facinq the floor hurt more its called an over straddle

  • does she make you do them at home or in class

  • she akes us do it in class but before i could do it completely aqainst the wall i would also do it at home and it really helped but i still do t at home all the time if you want to do them completely aqainst th wall u should alo do it at home

  • Ouchy. But looks like it helps

  • This really hurts

  • looks painful

  • yes i always do this on my dance classees when i was begginner i hate it because it hurts!!!

  • i do that every day for 10-20 minutes to help me do my splits. my captain gave us advice on how not to concentrate on the pain, because we constantly push ourselves to go lower. while you do this stretch, read a book, listen to music, or talk on the phone(i talk on the phone with my friend for 20 minutes while she is doing this stratch along with me at her house, it's funner if you're with somebody : )

  • holy shinikes!! we do this at practice, but i'm not nearly as far!!

  • I love this!

    Feels good after practice..

  • Whoa! That looks soo painful, but it looks kind of cool. I got to learn how to do this..

  • ouch!

  • i used to do that! its very painful!!!

  • alright my self cofidence just went down the hole. see i cant do any of this although i am a dancer for 8 years. if you cant do this. are there any exercises you can do to get to that point of flexibility or whatever?

  • my center split is also bad if i dont keep it good, but what i just have to do is stretch everyday at home and work really hard at it. i do the wall stretch like this but i put ankle weights on. also i just go down into middle split and hold it, i breathe in and then go alittle farther when i breathe out. i dont know if i helped any but that is what i do. i definately notice a diff.

  • thx. ill try

  • to get flexible, you should stretch every night. Push your body. You should feel some type of pullling. Also, stretching in the shower or bathtub is great..it gets your body already warm, then after you get out, stretch some more :]

  • you dont even need flexibility to do jumos. you just need power.

  • so true. but it's good to have flexibility.

  • i can do that

  • omg shes soooo flexible! mine isn't nearly as good as hers i told mine for like 20 seconds and i'm like screaming in pain hahah :)

  • people looking for more stretch can do this while sitting up, it burns, but once u teach urself 2 do it, its not so bad........ MAKE SURE U WARMUP FIRST!

  • how to you perform this stretch while sitting up

  • i can do it

    u just do it...sitting up

    x

  • you just sit on your butt facing the wall with your legs in a straddle position. make your feet touch the wall while still in the straddle and push yourself as close to the wall as possible. its the same effect as this stretch only your legs arent up. it helps to have another person to help push yourself closer to the wall. does that make sense?

  • we do this every day at cheer

  • what if your a beginner and your legs can stretch that far how would they recomend that you learn the straddle stretch.

  • just the same thing, but ur legs wont go as ar as hers

  • Naturally, they expect a lot of things. But to dance in general does mean the splits are a necessity. I don't see how people voted that down. Plenty of people dance without being able to do the splits.

Anyway, I certainly agree on the jumping half. Splits and such are deemed most important, but I find a woman who gets good elevation to be much more fascinating to watch.

  • I would have to agree that active flexibility is more important in the context of dance. To be able to sit in a perfect split is fine, but you need the strength and speed in the hip flexors, thighs, and other muscles to get splits in the air. I know many girls who benefited from their powerful switch leaps, for instance, and used those instead of regular leaps.

  • ouch.

  • ouch, i agree

    dang this girl is flexiable.

  • demonstrations are fine...my only comment is be careful if using these in a studio situation...parents can sue you if the student isn't warmed up properly BEFORE the execute some of these movements, the video doesn't mention or show this....kudos to the poster for some doo tips and tricks

  • these seem like tourcher, but i learned to like them....after you are done you walk like a cowboy... hehehe. try doing the sit ups when you do this also.

  • Of course its going to hurt a little bit, within reasonable limits to not hurt yourself. Stretching for dance is very intense. You need to do a split for dance!

  • The splits are not necessary for dancing, just a nice touch.

  • i disagree in my jazz dance we are doing the splitz all the way down in the middle of the dance

  • Why was I marked down for this? I've seen beautiful dancers who do not have their splits.

  • thats exactly how you learn. your muscles build and learn that you want your legs to do THAT when you're in a strattle.

it only hurts if the people putting pressure on your ankles put too much pressure.

  • wow doesent that hurt??i was just wondering how do you learn how to do a perfect straddle??
