This reminds when radios in West Tanzania were belowing this song all the time. I think I was in tenth grade. I am now old still I love this song.

I love this song and miss hearing all these instruments playing! Congolese music has changed so much,we only hear shouting and people's name...sad
Rochereau had a stroke a couple of months ago but thank God is alright now. He is a true star

African Jazz was a that time ahead the time as the orchestra was singing for the whole Africa. The entire world was in musical music.

This is actually African Jazz, the orchestra of Joseph Kabasselé aka Le Grand Kalé, who is singing second voice on this Rochereau composition. Possibly 1963, Dr. Nico on guitar, his older brother Déchaud on rhythm guitar.
