  • If it wasn't for this, we wouldn't be who we are today.

  • it's crazy of how such a genius this man was....Everyone should watch the movie Amadeus to at least get some IDEA of how much of a genius and yet insane person he was.

  • :) Simplemente Sublime

  • @mindhasyou Fuck you. They had blues music. Which is also amazing and emotional music that gave us rock and roll. God damn I would love to kick your ass for saying stupid ignorant shit like that.

  • 9 people are tone deaf-__-

  • what a music....perfect!

  • @ValentijnHeifetz871 better of downloading a higher quality version from your favourite torrent site - the quality of this is not that great.

  • brak słów coś wspaniałego!!!

  • Danke (:

  • You can almost feel your soul in...utter happiness.

  • Simply magnificent--this music and many others like it will last forever.

  • Dzieło na skalę światową, napisał na własny pogrzeb... A potem zmarł na dzumę wrzucony jak pies do zbiorowego grobu......

  • By dead white European men, I mean a factual statement. These white European men created some of the most beautiful music ever, but they are physically dead. Their music will always be with us and that is good. At some point in the future, all of us will be dead too. That is just a factual statement. No disrespect was intended toward these great composers. Enjoy their music as I do on a daily basis.

  • In one man's imagination, here are we all.

  • in such videos the dislike button must be unactive

    that's not a music

    it's a miracle

  • Thank s to the universe for Mozart. I love the music of dead white European men.

  • @ZAAL58 Mozart is not dead... He lives through his music...

  • @drummerhellas No, hes dead :P

But his work is still alive, ofcourse, since that had basicly become immortal.

  • @ZAAL58 And I hate the music of the live black Americans men :))

  • @ZAAL58 dead white european men?? what the...?

  • happy 255th birthday.. damn you gettin old

  • 8 people's fingers slipped due to being taking away by the music.

  • One feels sorry for Mozart.

Beethoven one worships because HE IS GOD.

Personally prefer Mozart's Mass in C to his requim

  • Doona doooooonaeeeeeeeeeeiis

  • Now I learn about Mozart in my art school. :) Tomorrow I will write a test of him. I hope it will be great. I thought, I must listen his awesome last written music. I don't listen too regularry classic music, even I'm a classic pianist... but i like it. Now I learn a Mozart sonata too.

  • The Germans really are the super race of humans. I'd like to see a nigger compose something even 1/10th close to this.

  • @mindhasyou You are far away from the Creator of the universe, the only God, who knows everything about you and your brain's cells and functions.

  • @mindhasyou racist

  • ....... Mozart was Austrian - btw........

  • Mozart was Austrian ........ btw

  • @Demokritos31 lol austrians and germans are from the same "race"

  • @mindhasyou you are rude and ignorant of jazz and blues. if Germans were super race they wouldn't have most shameful history ever and by the way extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence to avoid ridicule. despite burden of proof is not on my side I will show absurdity of your claim, multiracial people are always healthier and stronger than pureblooded ones, its a scientific fact! you don't need do be scientist to understand it but you are completely ignorant if haven't heard about it.

  • @mindhasyou Maybe if they had been given violins and education instead of cotton fields.

  • Amazing! Its like falling in love all over again

  • My god!

  • thank you for sharing this.

  • @DaJuggalo Beethoven learned from his protege Mozart for a weeks. Just Mozart and Beethoven.

  • 5:00

  • 8 people have opinions. Chill peeps.

  • 8 people think that Justin Beiber is the greatest composer ever.

  • @TheMagicBolt Is there no escaping Justin fucking Bieber? Don't mention him on Mozart!

  • I'm not allowed to listen to part two. Why is that? Is Mozart suddenly withdrawing my right to listen?

Sarcasm people. Although the fact still stands, I can't watch the second part.

  • 8 people are retarded.

  • @TheTrueImpaler No,they are already dead!

  • @TheTrueImpaler more than just retarded!

  • beautiful..

  • @infidel94 Beethoven is another great composer but learned it from Mozart for a few a weeks.

  • Play this piece real loud, in a classical setting kind of office when your new client first enter your office hall way, then have the light dim and have your colossal portrait at the end of the hall way just right before the turn into your office and lay you sit with your fancy feather pen, pretend to write policies. Lol.

  • @UnitedPebbles Or when your younger female sibling wants to introduce her new boyfriend :)

  • @UnitedPebbles lolllll

  • Why!?! Why have you destroyed everything mozart has worked so hard for justin beaver

  • @thedadam1 He hasent destroyed anything... Oh wait, oh yeah only thing that he has destroyed is 12 old kids taste of music and their brains. Best way to get rid of jb is that we just have to stop talking about him, even negative comments about him make him more known/popural and maintain his popularity...

  • Pure beauty.

  • Keep it classy, classical music elitists.

  • he was a great musci writer

  • The intro always gives me chills.....truly amazing.

  • I think that this is one of Mozart's best pieces. I agree with "timages13", he carefully crafts his pieces with caution and consideration into every single note of music he puts on the paper.

  • If there is touch of god, if there is messenger of god, it is through musician, Vivaldi Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Paganini, puccini. . . . . no else.

  • @khorramf totaly agrea

  • @khorramf Don't forget our friend Handel!

  • Can someone please explain to me why listening to many of mozarts pieces makes me feel the way i do? please can someone answer me...... how do i feel? the same way you do when you listen .......

  • @caddencadden Beauty of music comes from the universe not from individuals so its imposible to feel exactly the same way as others do.

  • Comment removed

  • I think there was abit of audio problems because I cant hear the strings that well.

  • This piece makes me cry every time

  • mozart is beast!

  • No other composer, not each Beethoven or Bach could make something like this it's just so beautiful. Mozart is the best composer in the whole world.

  • the people who hasnt seen the movie AMADEUS yet ...what are they waiting for?

  • I am not saying that Lady gaga isn't worth listening to, but I also wondered why she was the next recommended video.

  • how is lady gaga the next recommended video??? wtf that is some bull... i love mozart... this is real ART

  • he wasn't 11 when he wrote this.

  • @joshgura you're right he was 35

  • la musique classique a traversé les siecles, et il y a toujours autant de monde qui aiment l'écouter…

peut on en dire autant de ce qu'on appelle la "musique" d'aujourd'hui…

  • I was thinking how good that acid was I took until I realized I hadn't taken it. I thought this was suppose to be Pink Floyd.

  • 5:00-5:12 THIS WAS IN FAMILY GUY!!!

  • I must respond to these 'no other composers like mozart' comments. You are correct in the factual sense as no one will ever think exactly ad Mozart did, but when you say this, it suggests that no other composer will ever rival him and that is a fallacy. I can name two composers today that have just as much musical brilliance. Nobuo Umetesu ( I apologize if my spelling there is incorrect), and Maynard James Keenan of tool. I also needn't mention Beethoven, Vivaldi, and Bach. It is not at all fa

  • @shadowofgeif maynard james keenan musical brilliance? i love tool but does he write any of the music? and funny i find another tool fan on a mozart video

  • @lepreconstellmestuff I'm a Tool fan too. Ha.

  • @TheMexihcatl ahaha nice man!

  • @TheMexihcatl I'm a tool fan too, I listen to death metal more so than anything though x

  • @lepreconstellmestuff yeah he does but i was more refferring to the entire band,I felt rushed because I was commenting on an i-pod touch and I wasnt used to it thats why I singled out maynard... so yeah, in my opinion, if you put all the minds of tool together you get musical brilliance that can rival mozart lol. ANd yes that is pretty funny

  • @shadowofgeif i'll say this as bluntly as i can so there no chance of a misunderstanding. you're an idiot.

  • @MarquiesdeCarabas I'm an idiot for having an opinion? You're a sad sad little elitist. Go out and experience your dull life that of course isn't being enhanced by brilliant music because I'm just making an assumption here, but I would guess that you're closed minded in every aspect of your life. Thank you for your opinion!

  • @shadowofgeif i'll say this as bluntly as i can so there no chance of a misunderstanding. you're an idiot.

  • i wonder what was coming on Mozart's mind when he wrote this?

  • @davlor86 sorrow

  • @davlor86 His Impending Death, of course there's alot of controversy about what happened at the time of Mozarts death and the writing of this piece but "apparently" he had told his wife that he was writing this requiem for his own funeral! whether this is true or not is irrelavent, he still would have been very depressed, distraught, frightened

  • There will be no other composer like Mozart!

  • @19GirlBad beethoven?

  • @19GirlBad

    Beethoven, discuss

  • @19GirlBad

Absolutely correct. A genius in his time and comparatively speaking he is a genius today. No musician compares to Mozart.

  • No other composer will be like Mozart!

  • Thank you !

  • I wonder what he would have done with today's electronic instruments.

  • This music needs to be in an epic battle scene.

  • @AllTheLights haha yeah(:

  • Did anyone else notice that his initials spell WAM!!? ftw =D

  • @HamletSlaya101 thats what he does to the competition, WAM!

  • @longlivereligion When Mozart steps in the building, hah...Forget about it, no comp.

  • Its Probably Disrespectful To Mention Such A Thing On Such A Genius' Work

But At 5:16 , does this remind anyone else of Call Of Duty: World At War ?

  • When I listen to this I get goosebumps and all the hairs stand on end.

  • I can't find words to describe that. It is amazing. Mozart was amazing. Goosebumps x10! Thank you for uploading this!!!

  • three words justin beiber

  • @goodcitymusic You fucking faggot. by even SAYING THEIR NAMES, YOURE PROMOTING THEM. DON'T FUCKING SAY ANYTHING.

  • @goodcitymusic you like that misconcoction of nature!?

  • mozart the mass producer of genius music

  • How could anyone dislike this? The man was a genius and this piece is pure magic. It takes you places in your mind that you didn't know existed.

  • @kclanton Imbeciles dislike it, because they seek cheap sound effects and horrible language.. Meditate in the dark to this and concentrate upon the sounds and vocals. Mozart, Bach and Chopin are the best, truly..

  • @kclanton Because maybe they accidentally dislike the video trying to like it?

  • the dark side of music never sounded so good

  • Master Achievement

  • genius

  • hello crawford, i lived in crawford street london when I was young, so crawford is a name for the lovers of music like this, as I do... ta, from guruplonka.

    Is realy astonishing

Dedicated to my Daddy & Mummy...

Thanks to whom I discovered classical music

    :)))***

  • Who the fuck owns Mozart?

Fuck these profit orientated savages who besmirch good music for the dollar.

  • who said there is no such thing as bad music? There is such thing as bad music, you've never heard a bad musician? sure you have, you just don't want to let them know

but modern music has no where in comparison to this piece, i mean this thing is up on a pedestal where not even the Gods can touch

  • Please, don't make any comment saying oh I'm 13 but I listen to this not Justin Bieber. I'm 13, and yes, I listen to this. We all know that those who listens to "music" from modern time is hopeless, but just let it go.

  • I respect your opinion. But honestly, to even have a dialogue on rap music serves no useful purpose and does a great disservice to the genius and the brilliance of the man we came to listen to in this video.

  • @Prsaint

As if that needs an explanation. Whats not to dislike? Is it that its not music at all? ? Is it that involves no actual musical instruments? Is it that hateful and profane lyrics are used to sell it? Is it because has taught poor children in inner cities who look to leadership to and find out from Rap music and lyrics that the way out is killing and gang violence and going to prison?

Rap is the antithesis of mankinds progress in culture.

  • Although I think that a lot of mainstream music is not respectable, I think it's too generalizing to label it as just "rap." Rap can be a beautiful form of art, an outlet for honest poets who, instead of promoting "gang violence" and "going to prison" are able to find a positive force in their life and be a part of a supportive community. Degrading, made for money mainstream music, on the other hand, IS what you are talking about, in my opinion. But to label it as rap is ignorant and incorrect.

  • Ahh Mozart... :)

  • I love all classical music from Beethoven to Bartok, but there' something about Mozart. There's no composer like him, the way he crafted his music, all the choices he made along the way. I often tell those who aren't familiar with classical music to first listen to Mozart, for he's the great ambassador of that genre. His music appeals to any living thing, (my dog comes into the room when I play it, not kidding!). It's because it possesses a certain purity, a simple yet unmistakable perfection.

  • @timages13 LOL! Dogs have brains 2!

  • @MrGeneralJB ...so true...and certainly big enough to appreciate Mozart. But I was told and observed long ago that music is not something we strictly engage in cerebrally. Musical sound affects us physically as well. When a young baby starts bouncing to the beat of a song, her reaction has very little to do with what she's thinking.

...that's what I believe makes music such a powerful art form.

  • @timages13 he only wrote 2 thirds of the play :P it still remains a masterpiece and so does he

  • @Korianne75 Yes it's quite a story, all the intrigue and events surrounding Mozart's Requiem Mass. It seems that Constanze, Mozart's wife, had at least two other composer's complete this wonderful piece of music anonymously in order to collect the rest of the commissioned payment for it. Mozart died deeply in debt, and it was his wife who became a tireless promoter of his music after. Thank God she did! You're so right Requiem is very much a masterpiece, and Mozart a truly a brilliant composer.

  • @Prsaint I just don't like it because I don't find it very musical. No real sense of melody, and if there is one, it is not a primary component. To me, rap is basically just vulgar poetry set to a beat. Again, let me stress that I am not saying that rap is bad. There is no such thing as good music or bad music, only music you like and music you don't like. Unfortunately for me, rap falls into the latter category.

  • Last night, I found out that the choir and orchestra I play violin with is going to perform Mozart's Requiem for our spring concert. I am very excited! Just prior, I had watched Amadeus by piecing it together here on You Tube. I hadn't seen the movie in years and now I want to go out and buy the DVD. But the movie got me very interested in the Requiem, however, and now I will get a chance to perform the whole thing. We did it four years ago as well. Mozart lives forever through his music!

  • I'm the only one I know who can listen to the Beatles, Cream, Led Zeppelin, Chet Atkins, Iron Maiden, Avenged sevenfold, CCR, Brad Paisley, Josh Turner, Etc. and still enjoy this. Liking one does not mean shunning another. (I do hate rap though, no offense)

  • @Anitrop Sorry to shatter your perception, but my musical taste is totally giardiniera, and I love listening to Mozart as much as T.Rex.

  • @Anitrop I am the same! Just finishedl istenting to AIC and now this :)

  • @Anitrop You aint the only one brother. i love metal, classical country, rock, and classical music.

  • ONLY WOLFGANG AMADEUS MOZART TO CREATE SUCH A MASTERFUL PIECE. MOZART YOU WILL BE FOREVER BE THE GREATEST COMPOSER OF CLASSICAL MUSIC.

  • My music teacher, many years ago, called the requiem "so genius that you get a shiver down your spine." He was spot on.

  • who would thumbs down this???

  • It's amazing how much Mozart's Requiem seems to draw from Pergolesi's Stabat Mater: those amazing suspensions. I've always thought M's Requiem was amazing, but it's not his typical style (maybe that's why I love it so). It seems to look back and forward simultaneously. It's really my favorite of his music, except for maybe the Serenade for winds. I'm curious how much the Pergolesi was imbedded in his psyche as he wrote.

  • is it me or is the first movement missing the allegro part?

  • @fartman120 lol yes u are right.....

  • Calms the hell out of me!

  • Guys subsribe to me for a video made using this! Its the video that is displyed on the chanell!

  • Very soothing.. How often do you come across music that ultimately frees your imagination? I thank God for classics like this..

  • @guajiromack soothing????

    its exhausting.

    and thank the composers.

  • what putz actually reported this?

  • who says we cant download it. Google "Youtube downloader", and type in the URL of this video and U can DL the MP3

  • Divus beamus Wolfgang Mozart!

  • aaah, that bassoon in the beginning gives me chills every time!

  • Thnaks for sharing Master Achievement

  • It's funny that in the mist of all his personal issues he still made AMAZING music to his last breath......

  • @MrWhitehead003 I feel this song was an ode to his pending death at the time, his thoughts are beautifully transformed in the piece

  • yesterday i watched the movie "Amadeus"

    i cried :(

  • @JustWantYourL0VE me too when i saw it

  • I was just watching some rock videos and it is ALL verbal masturbation. Yes, that includes the beatles, the stones etc. Real music hasn't existed for a very long time.
