The US Army has way more modern Tanks, then the Russian Army, we have over 5000 M1 Abrams Tanks, and there are just about 500 T-90 in Service. The reason we lose so many soldiers is that we look out for wellfare of civilians, as humans mistakes are made, many times they are fatal. 1 Chinook down, a few thousand US casualties over 10 years. Take a good look at their body count.

Also, its not that the other marines actually "suck" its that US marines are highly commercialized and uplifted with propaganda(always in TV/Discovery Channel praising their "hardwork"). We dont actually know anything about Russian marines or whatever so we cant actually judge. Also ive seen the UK Royal Marines work too(and training), and they are more impressive than US marines.

@i8yoCAKE Everytime I see wartime video(Chechnya whatever/Georgia) I seem to not find ANY marine unit, almost all videos are recorded by Spetsnaz units (MVD Vityaz) or VDV airborne. Its not that Spetsnaz are always in the dark* Spetsnaz MVD,VDV specifically act as very violent soldiers that enter warfare/no stealth just guns blazing. Spetsnaz GRU,Dolphin and FSB are pretty much the silent ones, though can go to paramilitary function at times.

The US Army has way more modern Tanks, then the Russian Army, we have over 5000 M1 Abrams Tanks, and there are just about 500 T-90 in Service. Russia has the 3rd biggest Army in the World, a lot of Weapons, even if they are mostly old, and a amount of Nuclear Weapons. But the USAF still has more Planes, and the Navy way more Ships. We fought in Europe, in Africa, and in the Pacific. The US had the most kills in that War, and very few losses, and there is no Winner in a War.

@marcusbloods1 youre an idiot. i never said it had nothing to do with the US nuking japan.. i never even said that so dont put words in my mouth. Japan was fully prepared to have every single japanese citizen in the entire country fight a US invasion, even after the nukes.. It was a couple days after the nukes went off that the japs surrendered, and in those couple days, the Russians finally held up to their promise and sent almost all their military to the eastern boarder right above japan

@Cuthroatmonkey getting ready to japan. Not only were the japs scared of the russian military, but they also didn't wanna be taken over by the russians. They knew the russians would force communism and authoritarian rule on them, which they didn't like, meanwhile they knew the US would help them build up as a better and democratic country, so of course they surrendered to the US before it was too late. The us was hesistant to even invade japan, russia feared nothing. which brings me to your next
