The generations that grew up watching this these cartoons turned out fine. A lot of things in here you wouldnt see in modern cartoons thanks to unnecessary censorship. Especially the part with a kitten in a sack tied to an iron floating on ice in a creek. A little dark for nowadays, but like I said people turned out fine.

@zeogeox, I remember hearing about people doing things like this and a couple of years ago I was on the freeway and someone threw a cat out of their car window and the cat was hit by another car. So I guess people still do things like this especially when the economy is bad and people realize they can no longer care for their pets. It's horrible and sad.

Sadly, not only in countries with limited food... in some countries animals are treated like inanimate objects.

On the other hand, if you watch Animal Planet, you can see that in more developed countries, people sometimes go to great lengths to save an animal's life.

i know it makes me so mad too! i have vowed that if i ever have kids they are not gonna watch dumb shows on disney channel. they are gonna watch the classic disney shorts and movies and learn about walt disney and how hard he worked. disney today really doesnt care but walt disney did so so much. i have this book called the man behind the magic. it is a really great book. i think everyone should read it once. its really influencing and you learn a lot more of disney.
