  • I need verse 3 please

  • There are multiple versions of this hymn on Youtube, but this one stands above the others. The delivery is flawless and the soloists all have lovely voices. Will someone PLEASE tell me who arranged this or what publishing company carries the sheet music? Thanks!

  • @GospelAccording2ME The arranger of this piece is an African American Church Series publication by Dr. Nathan Carter/Charles Tindley 2003, GIA Publications, Inc.

  • @Selbren Many thanks for the info.

  • Man I will ALWAYS remember this song. I sang this with my school's choir, and it was the finale of our epic concert at Carnegie Hall!

  • This has got to be the best arrangement of this hymn ever. Ive performed this piece with one of my choirs. Great to hear organ acc. as well. Stellar performance and ministry.

  • Beautiful , but who's arrangement is this?

  • @TheKingJacob1 Nathan Carter. My choir did the same version last year

  • @TheKingJacob1

its been arranged by nathan carter

  • Chorus

I do not know how long 'twill be,

    nor what the future holds for me;

but this I know, if Jesus leads me,

I shall get home some day.

  • @ayonbaxter

AMEN! learning this song at GAAA

  • Verse 4 Burdens now may crush me down, disappointments all around. Troubles speak in mournful sigh, sorrow through a tear stained eye. There is a world where pleasure reigns, no mourning soul shall roam its plains, and to that land of peace and glory, I want to go some day. Chorus
  • Verse 2 Often times my sky is clear, joy abounds without a tear. Though a day so bright begun, clouds may hide tomorrow's sun. There'll be a day that's always bright, a day that never yields to night; and in its light the streets of glory, I shall behold some day. Chorus
  • Verse 1 Beams of heaven as I go, through this wilderness below. Guide my feet in peaceful ways, turn my midnights into days. When in darkness, I would grope, Faith always sees a star of hope. And soon from all life's grief and danger, I shall be free some day. Chorus I do not know how long 'twill be, nor what the future holds for me; but this I know, if Jesus leads me, I shall get home some day. Chorus.
  • Praise the LORD!

  • Excellent delivery and beautifully done! The trio blended was superb and the soprano soloist was glorious. Time to record if you have not already done so.

  • Why does she pull the mike back everytime she do dat high part?

  • Beautiful choir, beautiful trio, beautiful soloist, beautiful song, beautiful arrangement! Congratulations to the Hope Channel for a beautiful recording - both audio and video. Timpanist, thank you. Pianist, wonderful. Conductor, your outstanding leadership is apparent. I would love to hear and see a recording of this group in front of a live audience.
