@Frankie2315 The purple light is the proximity sensor, using infrared radiation to be sensitive... The (maybe) cheap webcam or video-cam used in this video has no filter for the IR wavelenght... So the IR part of the radiation is detected as red colour, or white if the sensor is emitting with higher power. Remote controls produce the same effect on almost every webcam...

There is a app call TANGO is free no jailbreak or nothing like that it work on 3g network so you can facetime with friends over 3g network it work on the iphone 3gs iphone4 and droid phone too belive me look for it on the app store or on the droid market thanks please let me know

hey, the purple light is an infrared light, which sense wheter ur using the phone to call ppl so it could off the screen, try takin a remote and put it at a camera, u would see a weird purple ligt
