  • Humane is #1 my grandfather is a fire police for that company.

  • wonder if my uncle was driving the truck??

  • I heard that Humane replaced their ladder, is this true?

  • Yup, bought a refurbed 93 Seagrave. You can see pics of it on Humanefire(DOT)org

  • Looks nice

  • To see an identical rig to Humane's current rig take a look at "Ladder 36 responding to Tall Tree Apts." The only difference is that Humane's has a pump on theirs.

  • Nice Seagrave and favorited!!

  • good old seagrave

  • Thats a good veiw, you should try to do it when your code 3

  • Sounds like an 8V92TA

  • awesome videos!!!!! Sux that mine were taken on a camera phone lmao!!!! well keep em up and I'm liking the viewpoint on the ladder!

  • Nice video!!! And Rofocowboysucks you can go fuck your self. If u keep calling us yankees, we kicked your ass in the civil war we can kick it again!!!

  • Very true, but I've had run-ins at my work with some so-called "Fine Southern Gentlemen" who are totally and completely convinced that the South WON the war when John Wilkes Boothe shot President Lincoln. OUCH!!

  • What the fuck is your point? Don't be jealous just because I have a full set of teeth.....

  • Except it's not a Vector, it's a Viewpoint. If you're gonna say shit, at least have your fucking facts right...

  • I think you might be late for your Klan meeting you hillbilly hick!

  • the only thing that the south did to contribute to society is make the TOOTHbrush. if the north made it it would be called a TEETHbrush.

  • how interesting

  • Rofo, do you know if this rig has a Jake Brake? I think something like that would come in very handy in Royersford's steep hills. I just didn't hear one in this vid.

  • As far as I can remember, it doesn't....but then again I never really listened to it.

I'm guessing this is Seagravefan? What happened to the old profile?

Oh, and I'm sure you'll be happy to hear, my school company is having Seagrave build our new Rescue. ;-D

  • Long story on the name change. Nice to hear about the new Rescue!!

  • reminds me of the good ol' days at goodwill of new castle, delaware. straight truck,no tank or pump. the types of cabs are wrongly mentioned though, open, closed, fully enclosed.that rig there is actually closed.the seagrave rear admiral was flawless in opinion to me too.

especially the low profile cab and single out rigger set

  • Truthfully I think the Seagrave Rear Admiral was the best engineered fire apparatus ever built.

  • Can't beat an open cab on a warm day. Those winters sure do suck though ...

  • Definitely, awesome in the summer, crappy in the winter. At least on the ride to the call you've got some adrenaline going, so you don't feel it as much, but on the way back when you're all tired, that's the last thing you want...

  • very nice rig we had open cabs on our 1975 alf 100 foot stick and 1982 alf engine got refirbed the other engine chassie was too light to refrub so we solf it and bought a 1999 seagrave trashtruck i mean engine peice of shit cummings engine now we are in the proscess of buying a articulating squirt except alf dosnt sell to outside venders and we sure as hell aint getting a american lachance

  • American LaJUNK A. L. J. "On a clear cold night you can hear an American LaFrance fall apart--piece by piece!!" Popular phrase where I'm from. Pre-1980 ALF's used to be the butt of everybody's jokes. Starting in 1980 ALF started using stainless steel so they drastically improved from that point. A company near me has a 2001 ALJ pump and they are not happy with that rig either. Sorry to hear the Cummins ruined your Cadillac.

  • very sweet video, i remember the old days when our ladder truck had an open cab. one winter we found a way to put 5 guys where 2 guys are supposed to go, it was that cold.

  • Standing whilst in motion?

  • Yes, it's an older truck, you sometimes have to do that with those. I'm sorry my company doesn't have the money to get all new trucks with enclosed cabs....

  • Relax! You neednt have money to buy a new aerial with an enclosed cab. Doesnt Ladder 84 have jumpseats? Emphasis on SEAT (i.e. SIT).

  • Yes, but just like in the other vid you commented on, there was someone in it...

  • That's okay, Rofo. You got a very nice, not to mention FUNCTIONAL rig right there. I know I ran calls on one like it myself. Speaking of which Nesquehoning, PA just retired their Seagrave 100' Rear Admiral with FULLY OPEN cab just last winter. They ran that rig for an incredible 30 years and she still looked fresh out of the factory even in retirement!!!

  • gotta love the open cabs!

  • All you have to do now is the same view you have here, with a wind buffer, but responding to a call. If there was a way I could frame a video, that would be the one for me to frame!!!

  • nice 3 pod vector lightbar

  • It's actually not a three pod vector I don't think, because those make a small V. This is basically half of a v, with the / on one side and the \ on the other...

  • Yea its...I forget the exact name but its basically one half of a vector, made for each side of a ladder or squirt or anything like that

  • You're the best!!!

  • Hey, I try.

  • hehe ^^

  • nice video, a bid quiet but nice ;D

what siren do you run on this babe?

  • We have a Q, the air horns that you see in the pic, and an electronic, I think it's a Code 3, but don't quote me on that.

  • okay, cool ;D

  • Thanks

  • What type of ladder is this?

  • It's a 1976 Seagrave 100ft rear-mount.

  • Seagrave "Rear Admiral." The best-engineered fire apparatus ever produced (IMO).
