Dear heart this is a movie they are not going to fit every single thing in a tv movie remeber when it was aired it was in two parts, The movie can only cover so much and you have read the book we all have so as long as we know the eliminated details fine.

Not that it's all that accurate because she says things like when she was moving in Graceland, I'm more mature at 16 than 14. Well if you look at the date when her dad is registering her at school it is March 63, so she was almost 18 when she moved in! Also, I felt her leaving out things like the fact they did make love again after Lisa has led people to believe they didn't so it makes her actions more justified
One of the things that bothered me the most in this section which I mentioned below is they were not still together in 72 because she had left Elvis 12/30/71. I guess this was to move up her affair with Stone, and I found proof she was already with Stone in "Careless Love' where it said Joanie Esposito was baby sitting Lisa & covering for Priscilla when she was with Stone in the SUMMER OF 71 so Joe wouldn't find out & tell Elvis.
Related to that is the guys had been speculating since she left that she might be involved with Stone, but nobody knew for sure until Elvis told them after Priscilla told him in Vegas & they had their "confrontation." It was kind of funny that Joe said he still didn't believe it, and thought Elvis was making stuff up to justify being a bad husband, but it was true alright!!

Priscilla said in her book they made love passionately throughout the pregnancy, & DID do it after, but it had lost the passion.
Repeat what? I have repeated some because of misconceptions. I didn't in this half except when I was answering prior posts like in part 9 & summing up at the end. In this movie Priscilla tries to make herself look innocent by moving up the time she had her affair & left him, & makes it look like they didn't make love, & look like he raped her when she doesn't say either in her book. Giving her own hateful opinion of Elvis is fine, but she should get dates accurate and follow her book a little.
Because it skips too quickly from her leaving to Elvis dying, some of this came back on Priscilla in later years because she got fans hating her because they think her leaving killed him. Also, I do NOT think Elvis was any kind of saint and give many of the things he did also.. A good book that gives accurate dates & happenings is "Elvis: Day by Day" by Guralnick who did twelve years of research for his two bios on Elvis using the Graceland archives and solid evidence for dates & information

I read the book Child Bride and after I was finished reading it my opinion of Priscilla changed. It makes you wonder how much she was really being truthful about.
It´s true Priscilla decreed that she would not gain weight during her pregnancy. Priscilla starved herself during her pregnancy, eating only one meal a day! She lost ten pounds when she first conceived, and gained only nine back when she gave birth!
Cilla wasn´t so happy about her pregnancy. She wanted to use birth control, but Elvis didn´t want her to go on the pill. Because of her young age and her vanity, she was horrorfied to get fat, puffy and having big breasts. Elvid told her that those things happened to pregnant women and she was just doing everything to prove him wrong. I guess he just didn´t notice and she was more concerned about her beauty than her baby. Some claim it was a subconscious desire to self-abort.

I promise you after reading you are going to be a Priscilla expert and it helps to understand Priscilla`s complex charakter and the choices she made with Elvis.

I guess this was to move up her affair with Stone, and I found proof she was already with Stone in "Careless Love' where it said Joanie Esposito was baby sitting Lisa & covering for Priscilla when she was with Stone in the SUMMER OF 71 so Joe wouldn't find out & tell Elvis.

Related to that is the guys had been speculating since she left that she might be involved with Stone, but nobody knew for sure until Elvis told them after Priscilla told him in Vegas & they had their "confrontation." It was kind of funny that Joe said he still didn't believe it, and thought Elvis was making stuff up to justify being a bad husband, but it was true alright!!

@epmelodygirl Your'e right. Sonny West claims in his book that he was at one of E's Beverly Hills homes one day by himself, and Priscilla and Mike Stone arrived together, thinking they were alone. When they walked in the house together, they saw Sonny and nearly shit. In this movie Priscilla is ''miss holier than now'', saying she is not leaving him for another man when in real life Priscilla left for Mike Stone. The two of them were sleeping together before their separation.

I don't know if he cared about the birth control pill or not. They were bad at this time with heavy amounts of hormones--about 10mil. each which really bloated. By 1970, they came out with the" mini pill," and Kathy Westmoreland said Elvis had her go on the pill the day after their first sexual encounter & said he used "protection" for girls he knew were short term. Priscilla said in her book they made love passionately throughout the pregnancy, & DID do it after, but it had lost the passion.

Repeat what? I have repeated some because of misconceptions. I didn't in this half except when I was answering prior posts like in part 9 & summing up at the end. In this movie Priscilla tries to make herself look innocent by moving up the time she had her affair & left him, & makes it look like they didn't make love, & look like he raped her when she doesn't say either in her book. Giving her own hateful opinion of Elvis is fine, but she should get dates accurate and follow her book a little.

Because it skips too quickly from her leaving to Elvis dying, some of this came back on Priscilla in later years because she got fans hating her because they think her leaving killed him. Also, I do NOT think Elvis was any kind of saint and give many of the things he did also.. A good book that gives accurate dates & happenings is "Elvis: Day by Day" by Guralnick who did twelve years of research for his two bios on Elvis using the Graceland archives and solid evidence for dates & information

It´s true Priscilla decreed that she would not gain weight during her pregnancy. Priscilla starved herself during her pregnancy, eating only one meal a day! She lost ten pounds when she first conceived, and gained only nine back when she gave birth!

Cilla wasn´t so happy about her pregnancy. She wanted to use birth control, but Elvis didn´t want her to go on the pill. Because of her young age and her vanity, she was horrorfied to get fat, puffy and having big breasts. Elvid told her that those things happened to pregnant women and she was just doing everything to prove him wrong. I guess he just didn´t notice and she was more concerned about her beauty than her baby. Some claim it was a subconscious desire to self-abort.

In her book elvis and me, there is one photo at her baby shower. you cannot even see her belly. It's not even a good pic. I think she felt she had to be perfect. It's so sad. I wonder what her son navero thinks about all this. I wonder if this stuff with elvis effects him in any way

She was so concerned about her looks and her weight during her pregnancy, that she dropped a few pounds the time she conceived She said she didn´t even need maternity dresses. Guess that´s why we can´t see her belly although it´s not a good pic. I heard that she has a wonderful relationship with her son and they adore each other. I´m sure that Elvis also effected his life, Elvis will always be a huge part in Priscillas life:)
