good vid guys, just one problem I can see: when the yellow crystaled lightsaber is cut in half by the laws at be of george lucas that lightsaber should not be usable, a double bladed lightsaber is basically one lightsaber with two emmiters at either side so just like a single handed lightsaber cutting it in half renders the blade useless.

I love how people argue about blood in Star Wars without knowing WHY they don't bleed.

A lightsaber is hot, obviously. So the reason there's usually no blood is because the blade cauterizes the wound as it cuts, meaning the heat burns and seals off the skin, so blood has no where to go. Google cauterizing a wound, then you'll get it.

I still remember the first time I saw this back in 2001. The CG may be kind of dated, but it still holds up really well. Even ten years later, this is still the standard for fan-produced lightsaber battles.

This was a well made video, a little odd, but I wonder why all fan films have to have a Jedi or Sith, or just a lightsaber... What about the good old Star Wars where Jedi were rare and lightsabers flying around weren't a common-everyday-occurance?! Ah well... Again, this film and many others are good, its just that Star Wars is much much better and larger than just sabers.

Lightsabers produce a beam of high plasma energy. When it cut through a limb it cauterized it. In other words burned the opens so bad that there was almost, if any, no blood. Hints why in the movies, every time someone got hacked, their limb was charcoal black.

I agree with xemnas213 about that it was ruined by the blood at the end, but overall great CG work especially for 2006 work, the rotoscoping needs a bit more work, quiet often you can see the original props which is a shame but yeah all I have to say is good job and as an official review I would give this a 4.25 out of 5 because of the outstanding CG work just a couple of problems that need to be sorted.
