Kurt Russell played Elvis in a television movie in either the late 70s or early 80s. So his selection as one of these characters was not an accident. Kevin Costner as a bad guy is just brilliant. He always plays bad good. I think he should do evil more often. I did not like Ice Tee in his role. Everyone else seemed to be casted right. Courtney Cox was in the middle of her goody goody image on Friends so this was against type for her. Good movie. Fun & cheesy. But not with out it faults.

I have yet to see this one. Kevin Costner acts like himself for mostly every movie he's in, but I must say I enjoyed Waterworld (not joking), JFK, Dances With Wolves and even Field of Dreams. Kurt Russel is always great, so i'll probably check this one out.

Yes it is a pretty cool movie...lots of mindless action, both Costner and Russel are good. I agree 100% that Kurt should have knocked the kid into the ocean in the end, that kid is soooo fuc*ing annoying! That would have kicked its score on point up for me.
