Now address my other 4 posts. The point was you were supposed to not try and sound better than him.

  • Wayne kills this song

  • @Caretg OF coruse LiL ways is the best 4 ever put ppl hate wen thay c some 1 better than them :D like all ways

  • @rami5z

No look at my videos and check out my Lil Wayne diss thats why I don't like him, I hate him because he raps about nothing and is dumb. He is not better then me because I can rap about random stuff too.

  • @GetBackToTheKitchen1 You are missing the point of why weezy is good. It's not his lyricism. It's his delivery. He makes his auto-tune tracks with auto tune in mind. The "gargles", the dips, the raises are all planned and require you to maintain relative harmonies with yourself but be slightly out of key. His unique vocal quality really pops with the auto tune. Most people sound the same when they auto tune, yet he is able to distinguish himself so he is instantly recognizable.

  • @GetBackToTheKitchen1 I doubt he knows the theory behind it, BUT, I'm willing to bet he spent a lot of time getting fucked up and just playing with the plugin. This is similiar to the way someone might noodle with an electric guitar and figure out ways to make unique sounds. HIS VOICE IS THE INSTRUMENT! Furthermore, while I would agree he doesn't say anything of substance. He is one of the better rappers at wordplay. He is the king of clever sports references (genius for mass appeal)

  • He uses a lot of slang and delivers it in a tongue and cheek fashion. His subject matter is always the same. However, he always finds a new way to say it. This is somewhat similiar to jazz, in that you have an expected form, and the soloist puts a new spin on it. The more you listen to wayne, the more you appreciate what he is doing. You become familiar with his story and suddenly the lines that seem out of context to the casual listener, make more sense.

  • @GetBackToTheKitchen1 On top of all this, his flow is razer sharp rhythmically. It's rarely complex, and often similiar but it always fits very nicely with the accompaniment. I listented to your diss track. You weren't tight rhythmically, you did nothing interesting melodically, and your rhymes weren't clever.

"You weren't tight rhythmically, you did nothing interesting melodically, and your rhymes weren't clever."

Thats the point. Derp. Because that's the way Lil Wayne's songs sound.
